Practice content, main tasks:
Katriin Raap came to work in Marketing and Communication department. August- September in Tamro
Eesti is very tense budgeting period. August mainly is for preparation. It is period when marketing
department prepares marketing strategy document. Marketing strategy has five parts: Economical
overview, customers, competitors, BENU (Tamro retail brand) current situation analyse and BENU future
strategy. In that period parallel Tamro was preparing for loyalty card new launch and system change.
For Katriin main tasks during her practice were:
- Overview of all pharmacy chains loyalty cards
- Analyse of current loyalty card system, possibilities for BENU
- Marketing strategy: Customers overview. Based on Nielsen Shopper trend research 2016.
Those tasks where most important and time consuming. Also Katriin helped to:
- Prepare presentation for Partner pharmacies
- Systemize and fix information in BENU homepage, mobile app, google map
- Prepare BENU informational booklet
- Collect information about all BENU pharmacies in Estonia, photos, addresses, phones etc.
- Visited competitors to monitor their monthly activities

Katriin has excellent computer using skills as well.
Conclusion:
Katriin Raap managed very well all tasks given to her. She surprised with her task filling speed and also
professionalism. It is hard to fit in quicly in retail business. Pharmacy sector is even harder because of
the special law regulation. She liked the most customers overview making and preparations for new
loyalty system launch. For competitors loyalty schemes overview she created great value for company.
Marketing team values her sense of duty and accuracy. She was open- minded, hard- working and
friendly colleague.
