1. Narrator: Well let’s remind ourselves of that Exit Poll; the dramatic moment in
which the UK’s political landscape turned on its head…
2. Audio: Audio of Exit Poll
3. SFX: Audio of Ed Balls losing his seat in Morley and Outwood
4. Paddy Ashdown: If this Exit Poll is right, I will publicly eat my hat-as long as it’s made
of marzipan!
5. Narrator: That quote from Mr Ashdown was just the start of things as it turned out
through the small hours
6. Atmospheric Sound: Noise of SNP supporters cheering after winning a seat;
something that became one of the symbols of the night
