Baddha Konasana, also known as Bound Angle Pose or Cobbler Pose, is an asana in yoga where the feet are brought together and grasped, bringing the heels close to the perineum with knees touching the ground and spine erect. Practitioners exhale while bending forward to touch the forehead, then chin and mouth to the floor if possible, holding for 30 seconds before relaxing back up. This pose relieves sciatic pain, prevents hernia, and regulates menstruation while reducing delivery pain and varicose veins during pregnancy.
