1. INTRODUCTION
This report is about the flour mill, and in this we have described
that how to computerized and develop the Information system
for the flour mill so it works efficiently because manual and old
work can cause loss rather than profit.
Background of the study:
Main purpose of the developing IS system for the flour mill is to
make the all manual work of the factory computerized and
through which the work will be easy and understandable and
accurate. The main problem in this old pattern is that the total
work of the factory is manual and jotted on the larger lagers, so
we wants to develop the information system for the factory
which will total computerized and user friendly because of it the
factory will spread the work by finding the problems and their
required solutions by winding up at one point and it will become
easy to operate it so that it can reduce the maintenance costs and
the labor’s too.
Method of project:
First of all we will analyze the procedure of factory how the
factory process is being done then we will design an Information
system. Our first goal is to develop the platform through which
all the factory office works become computerized and our main
purpose and initiative is our office work not automatic plantation
because we are not as much capable to make such huge machines
control with our finger tips, for them we require sensors and
pee-plantation.

Implication:
We will use the information system in factory office in account,
purchasing, selling, milling and stock section and it will require a
concise database software.

Introduction to company:
It is a flour mill which is built in 1955 by Italian company and
situated in Sukkur Sindh, where the plant of the Mill is totally
automatic but at that time the computers were newly introduced
and they are not as common as now days so the company office
work remained completely manual and is not computerized.
Still they are following the manual way to operate
their business process, because of this manual process they are
not able to gain the actual profit like today’s modern and
technological companies do. We want to develop the Information
System for this company to meet the modern market so that we
launch their products in market in new ways so they will get the
desired profit and fame to their product.
For this we have to develop the web application and
databases to keep records computerized. Through this we will
able to keep the records of the customers and products which are
being purchased for the company. Introducing the database and
web application the market core dealers will easily contact with
the company for their require product and the paying process of
the price of product will be online no robbery and fraud
possibility will arise no needs to dealers to visit the company for
their product.

Requirements:
First of all we need database software to make
computerized the whole system of the company which is totally
manual. We also need computers to manage the records and on
the other hand we need trained and professional people who are
able to understand the computer and their methods of
maintenance. The online system of the organization to keep our
record and products for the web users and core dealers and make
them connected and aware of everyone’s activities by
synchronized system inside the organization, we need internet
connection which will upload all the information of the product
and company who wants to know about the company and price
of the products. Networking cables are basic requirement for the
communication of the office staff computers to send data from
one computer to another and server to client. We also require the
power backup for the continually connection with the database
and computers.
For the online system and computerization system
company will also keep the Information technology expert for
maintaining and check the database security and other possible
technical faults. IT expert will also update the database new
options as to meet the web business.

Analysis and design:
The design of the information system
will be consist of the database management computers, networks
printers, and other necessary components will require for this
whole information system. This information system will take one
month to design for the proper use of the company.
Database will design with the help of the SQL
language because this structured query language is very powerful
and user-friendly to handle the huge records of the company very
easily.
In network section we will use the LAN network
system for this information system because of this LAN usage
the offices of the company are the very near to each other and the
office work is the very concise to handle.

Main page representation of the System:
Here is the main login window of the database. From here every
person who has given an authority by the organization or the
person who works in office can access his/her window and
permission/authentication. The administrator will be the Manager
of the organization who is the head of that organization.
The other people are the clerks and those
clerks are interconnected with some other clerks as the stock man
who has a record for the daily production how much the
production is being taken in a day. How many bags are stored in
stock as the different materials are made by this organization for
suppose flour, Fine, Bran and second quality flour.

Similarly we have a wheat clerks who manage the record of
the stock wheat and grinding wheat how much wheat is being
grind today. And how many bags are count in disposal. What is
the selling quantity of that day of mill.
In database login system every
authorized person will contain its ID and password and the
person will just bound to its job he can just access the concern.
This is the window for the database administrator. This window
contains all the necessary option and tools for the administrator.
Through this he can easily manage the all database.
Each window contains the sub window
and further detail options for the showing window on main
screen of the administrator.

The production section contains all the
information and tools for the product. In this organization the
products are the Flour, Fine, Bran, and disposal. In flour section
the manager will see the availability of the stock of flour and
quantity orders.
Similarly the others products have a same
procedure to use them. Administrator can give a permission or
restricts the user for some duties in database and he can manage
the record of the stock. He can easily prints the records or can
access the report of the production, purchase, selling, and salary
section.
Conclusion:
By this information system we are able to:
1. Get an information about our all production by final
calculations.
2. We can get remaining material (wheat) and required material
for the next very day.
3. And the most importantly the profit and loss.
4. The causes or the facts that will help to reduce the expenses
this is the main initiative of our information.
5. The technical faults in any part of the factory which are being
generated inside and continuously causes of obstacle in
progression.
6. Need of labors and other employees, it will tell us the work
and the need of workers in any section.
