Supervised five off duty Soldiers, two Department of the Army (DA) Civilians and two local national employees. Established highly profitable and Family oriented programs well received by community members. Implemented Miss Hohenfels pageant for the 9th through 12th grade high school students to compete annually with essay, talent and modeling contest. Winner and four runner-ups received community nonprofit organizations scholarships and other prizes. This program was very successful and it became an annual event. Served as Special Emphasis Program Manager for Equal Opportunity Programs. Worked closely with Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and provided assistance for all EOA and EEO related programs. As a collateral duty, served as a trainer for Training of Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) program equivalent to Sexual Harassment/Sexual Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Programs. Provided quarterly sexual harassment training for entire community workforces including military and DA Civilians. With EOA and EEO established policy letter and guidance on preventing the sexual harassment in work places. Hosted no less than ten ethnic observance celebrations annually and provided educational and cultural awareness training. Successfully completed 40 hours of EEO training and served as EEO Counselor. Provided DA Civilians about the timelines of filing any EEO complaints, Army policies of zero tolerance of any discriminations or sexual harassments. Participated in management of individual complaint settlements and provided recommendations on resolution at the lowest possible level. Effectively served as EEO counselor and recommendations based on collected data through interviews, and extensive research based on EEO regulations and the command policies. Initiated and collated data from interviews conducted with complainer and management staff on every EEO cases. Performed analyses and made recommendation of improvements with management and staff working relationship. Monitored working progresses prior to closing complaint cases. Gathered data to clarify Sexual Harassment complaints to ensure all facts are presented and ensured confidentialities are never compromised. Always stayed on top of issues that required defensible conclusions and prepared and distributed comprehensive reports to commander for final resolution of each complaint cases settle at the lowest level possible without huge cost to the Army. Responsible for developing program objectives, policies and performance measures to effectiveness with management to prevent future EEO complaints. Served as advisor to the Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers (BOSS) programs. While serving as BOSS advisor, provided special training for young Soldiers on Sexual Harassment/ Assault Preventions and encouraged them to stay focus on the mission. As the BOSS advisor, responsible for program management support, including strategic planning Single Soldiers’ activities, prevention programs, operating policies and coordination of action plans. Provided assistance to Army units, and conducting analysis of policy/program effectiveness.
