They want to know how quickly you

workplace. In addition, they are trying
to find out if you have done part of this
role before and how much.

What the interviewer does not want
to hear is for you to lie, exaggerate or
to play up your experiences. Be
honest. They also don't want you to
be superficial

8. • Be clear
Make sure interviewers understand
what you have already done. What
your interviewers want to hear are
very concrete and specific
examples showing your skills and
that you will give them value from
day one.

Before answering the question, think of
a specific example of a past situation
that answers the question given.
Provide a clear but concise description
of the situation, explain how you handled
the situation, and describe the results.
By focusing on one specific example,
your answer will be succinct and on topic.

Do not place blame
If you are describing a particular
problem or difficult situation, it may
feel natural to attack or place blame
on another person. However, these
questions are about you, not about
anyone else. Focus on what you did to
manage the situation, and how you
could have improved the situation; do
not dwell on other peoples’ issues or
failures.

Do have plenty of eye contact
with the interviewer, be self
confident and well prepared and
don’t get flustered or panic.
