•Students with a Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied Level of Education
(or equivalent)
•Mature students, over 23 hoping to gain new skills with a view to entering the
workplace
•Third Level students who wish to widen their range of employment opportunities

9. Financial Supports
SUSI Grant
Applies to first time grant holders (at Level 5 or 6)
• Candidates who have been in receipt of a grant for a previous
qualification at the same level will not qualify
Candidates under 23 years of age:
• Parents or legal guardians will be means tested
• Income is assessed in the previous tax year, i.e. January - December
2022
