This can hinder a dancers progress. Injuries of the joints can become
inflamed if left untreated or overworked. Asthma, sickle cell anemia
and sclerosis can also be very difficult for dancers. They should be very
careful not to overly exert themselves and have rest periods.

6. PASSION
Do you have a passion for this career? If you do not feel that
a strong interest, it may possible be best to think of another career.
It is very important to remember you should enjoy what you do.

7. QUALIFICATIONS
Be sure you obtain the required qualifications to enter this field. Depending
on which area of Dance you intend to venture into, more studies may be
needed. Beginning with the smallest area of qualification is a foundation you
can build upon, towards achieving your goal.

8. SKILLS
Developing your skills as a dancer or dance practitioner is important. Don’t
depending on classes at school for total development. Enroll in a dance
classes outside. Learning from various teachers and choreographers can be
beneficial, as you may learn and experience different styles of dance
and teaching methods.
