AFIX-IIS Integration project
In 2013, CDC (Centre for disease control and prevention) announced that the support for software
program developed to perform provider level assessments will be discontinued and program awardees
would be require leverage their IIS (Immunization Information system) to support the program in lieu
of CoCASA (Comprehensive Clinical Assessment Software Application).My project is basically
integrating IIS with AFIX (assessment, feedback, incentive and exchange) functionalities. The projects
extends to states such as New York, Nebraska, Iowa, Virginia, and Oregon. The project is implemented in
agile methodology with a weekly stakeholder meeting and sprint cycle of 3 weeks. The project is now at
its initial stages with sprint velocity of 25 story points/sprint cycle. My chief responsibilities are product
backlog grooming, maintaining artifacts related to the user stories and time boxing. My key functions
include:
• Solid understanding of business process and antigens to be administered based on age group
cohorts
• Exhaustive understanding of HIPAA processes and procedures.
• Facilitating weekly discussions with stakeholders and involving them in agile development.
• Taking care of product grooming and prioritizing user stories in consultation with the product
owner

Input File Management and Capella Premium migration
Input file management project was initiated to automate the current manual file feed process to the
primary system Capella for DaVita. It will impact almost 90+ manual file feeds (Inbound/Outbound)
from major payers into Capella. The Capella Premium migration project is responsible for Capella
Migration from Silverlight to HTML. It will address re-write, enhancements and bugs to current system.
Capella is the primary Village Health Patient Information/Monitoring system housing information of
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and Kidney Transplant Patients.
• Business Requirement Documentation (BRD). Facilitated Business/Technical JAD sessions and
documented business requirements. Developed Business/IT current and future states.
• Documented Test data and Capella mapping documents.
• Deep understanding of Capella Database/Tables and effective in creating/executing Sql scripts.
• Designed the flow of feeds into the Database and then into CMS and finally to Users

Online Auto Claim
State Farm is a financial and insurance services firm specializing in retirement savings, Annuities,
property and casualty insurance and providing other services like business and Life Insurance.
The project was called “Online Auto Claim”. The “Auto Claim” application was developed to automate
the process of claims submission by State Farm Insurance customers. The new application was integrated
with the existing Account Access application that allowed users to submit new insurance requests. Data
about insurance requests and claims would be collected from users and processing would be done to
calculate premium and claim amounts. State farm wanted to provide a single platform to its customers
through Account Access that would also allow them to submit claims online.
• Gathering and documenting the requirements that are critical to the business and using those
requirements to design application software. Prepared business requirement documents using
Rational Requisite Pro.
• Analyzed business requirements and segregated them into high level and low level Use Cases,
Activity and Sequence using Rational Rose according to UML methodology.
• Derived Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) based on User Requirement Specification URS.
Understand and articulate business requirements from user interviews and then convert
requirements into technical specifications.
• Implemented RUP and followed iterative process for Use Case driven processes of requirement
documentation and their deployments and also created a Traceability Matrix.

one million dollars. It involved using a software called KOFAX that recognizes the amount entered in
cheque and eliminates the need to enter the amount manually. The main challenge was that AMEX
receives cheques from lot of banks that have the amount written in different areas of the cheque.
• Solid understanding of the existing financial business processes.
• Extensively interacted with business users for understanding the glitches faced in the current system
used by the business users
• Used the waterfall SDLC model to develop the final software of the project
• Extensive understanding of the accounting process for finding out the cheque flow
• Coordinated with 12 technical teams to get a completed picture of financial feeds to downstream
systems
• Developed BRD document and arranged for JAD process involving the teams of all impacted
applications

Online Auto Claim State Farm is a financial and insurance services firm specializing in retirement savings, Annuities, property and casualty insurance and providing other services like business and Life Insurance. The project was called “Online Auto Claim”. The “Auto Claim” application was developed to automate the process of claims submission by State Farm Insurance customers. The new application was integrated with the existing Account Access application that allowed users to submit new insurance requests. Data about insurance requests and claims would be collected from users and processing would be done to calculate premium and claim amounts. State farm wanted to provide a single platform to its customers through Account Access that would also allow them to submit claims online. • Gathering and documenting the requirements that are critical to the business and using those requirements to design application software. Prepared business requirement documents using Rational Requisite Pro. • Analyzed business requirements and segregated them into high level and low level Use Cases, Activity and Sequence using Rational Rose according to UML methodology. • Derived Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) based on User Requirement Specification URS.
