to manage a 100 employee staff

13. A strategic role assessment will be utilized for
development and retention. The strategic role assessment
will be utilized for the following:
Plotting performance compared to value to organization.
Identifying top performers.
Assesses an employee’s potential for promotion and
leadership.
Correlates pay, development, personnel decisions, and
dismissal.
14. A three day orientation will be completed for new hires
focusing on the following onboarding activities:
Making sure the new employee feels like a welcome part of
the team.
Providing employee with basic information to function
appropriately in new role. Further training to be completed
with manager.
Information session to help the employee understand
organizational culture.
Provide employee with handbook and further social exposure
to organizational culture.
15. Employees will be given instruction and resources on

tour of the facility.
Employees will be introduced to their manager, other
members of the management team, and employees will be
introduced to other members of their team.
16. A management by objective approach will be utilized for
employees. The management by objective approach will

17. A graphic rating scale will be utilized to evaluate job
performance. The graphic rating scale will focus on

18. Employee competencies will be rated by one of three
categories: “does not meet expectations”, “meets
expectations”, and “exceeds expectations”.
General Manager will include progress notes within
the evaluation for employee to review.
An addendum will be attached separately to the
graphic rating review which will include managerial
recommendations for strategies to assist the
employee with future improvement.
The employee and the General Manager will
complete the objectives section of the evaluation
together.
19. The Compensation for plant manager is paid as a salary paid
twice per month
Plant manager will earn a base yearly salary of $85,000
Short term incentive: quarterly bonus for increased production
output. 2% of salary for every 10,000 unit increase over previous
quarter’s output.
