As this world continues to move forward so will do the technology. Education will also move
forward, with new tactics that include a lot of technology to use. There are numerous positive
outcomes that can emerge from permitting children and teens to bring their mobile phones into
the classroom.
Students will develop their ethical and respectful minds while applying creativity
to academic curricula. The bottom line is that adapting a learning model that
utilizes mobile technology will be engaging to students, and could revolutionize
how students are assessed”
Students with ADD attention deficit disorder or ADHD attention deficit
hiperactiviyt disorder who tend to start several activities and leave everything
for last minute will have timely access to information by setting an alarm to
help them focus and have their assignments at the tips of their fingers.
I’d like to quote from the 2009 Horizon Report. “There is a growing need for formal instruction in
key new skills; including information literacy, visual literacy, and technological literacy... students
need to be technologically adept…[and they need to be able to collaborate with peers all over
the world”. Using cell phones and other mobile devices can be a way to flatten the classroom
walls and encourage global collaboration.
