What do I bringto the table, you may ask,firstof all ismy 25 years of experience in the building
maintenance industry,most of which in a working supervisory role.I enjoy managingmultiple
locations and theresponsibilities thatgo with this (I was truly put through the test working with
collagehousingfor over 4 years which requires all apts.to be turned in 3 months). I keep a very

EMPLOYMENT
2014-Current Maintenance Supervisor,Sava Senior Care Center. I am responsiblefor assuringthe facility is in
compliancewith all state& federal regulations includinglifesafety & OSHA compliance.The
facility had been lackingin proper maintenance,repair & carefor quite some time prior to me
arrivingin September of 2014. I have brought the facility closer to where itshould be
mechanically & environmentally.I havetaken pridein conducting the majority of the work in
house to save the facility financially,which includes servicingthenurse call system,telephone
system such as moving lineextensions & fax lines as we move offices,conducting major
plumbingrepairs, justto name a few. I trained other staff members on proper maintenance and
lifesafety.
2010-2014 Maintenance Supervisor,Ram’s CrossingCommunities.A privateowned company. This consisted
of 3 locations of 500 apartments and mostly collegestudents, which meant most apartments
were turned duringthe months of May through July. Trained a young group of 5 techs on all
aspects of buildingmaintenanceto better utilizethe staff on hand.
2009-2010 Maintenance Supervisor,Bull Run Apartments of Fort Collins.Whileatthis complex I managed to
get everything in great condition in a timely manner. I was then asked to train and assistthe
maintenance teams at other complexes in Colorado.
2007-2009 Maintenance Supervisor,Acacia Park Apartments, Fairgreen Apartments & University Gardens
Apartment Properties of Odessa Texas. Brought together the maintenance team. Stayed within
the budgetary guidelines by conductingmost work in house.
2007-2007 Senior MaintenanceSupervisor,McKinley Properties.My responsibilities included,but not
limited to supervision of 6-8 maintenance personnel, maintenance issues of buildings,scheduling
contractors,makingrecommendations for upgrades to apartments, maintainingoutdoor
swimmingpool, inspectingapartments for maintenance issues,makereadies,and turning
apartments. This position was for three different locations in Champaign IL.
2006-2007 Maintenance Director,HCR-Manor Care. My responsibilities include,but not limited to
supervision of floor careperson,all maintenanceissues of the aged and neglected building
includingHVAC, fire alarmsystems,surveillancesystems,door alarm/keypad systems,servicing
medical equipment, servicingpatientwander alertsystems, plumbing, electrical & lighting,
trainingof the fire safety and lifesafety codes.
2004-2006 Maintenance Supervisor/Manager,Barr Real Estate, Inc.My responsibilities include,butlimited
to supervision and trainingof maintenancepersonnel,for making recommendations on updates
for the agingbuildings and theapartments within them, for working with contractors on
conductingspecialized work, remodeling of apartments and commercial store spaces.While
working with the contractors on these projects I was responsiblefor makingsure that all aspects
of the buildingcodes arebeing met. Whileat the same time I am working to minimize the budget
without jeopardizing thecodes or consistency of the work. As for the manager part of the
position,I was responsiblefor assuringthatthe tenants uphold all aspects of their leases as well
as resolvingproblems.
3. 2002-2003 Maintenance Supervisor,Freeman Planning& Design & Development. As supervisor of
maintenance I had many responsibilities which included butwere not limited to instructing,
supervising,& trainingthe maintenance staff,performing preventative maintenance procedures,
respondingto tenants problems and requests in the way of work orders,mechanical repairs of
HVAC, plumbing,electrical,phone equipment, appliances,and pool equipment, performing
move-out inspections,inspectingfor leaseviolations,grounds maintenance,snow and ice
removal and working with contractors.I designed & implemented several forms such as
apartment checklists for turns.
