Personal Statement
I am a very highly motivated and dedicated professional with a passion to succeed in any environment. I have
extensive management and non-management skills/experience in the Food Manufacturing, ISO/QS
manufacturing, Retail and Hospitality Industries. With respect to sanitation / janitorial / building maintenance
programs, creation/implementation/continuous validation through a detailed master sanitation program and
standard operating procedures, in-depth mentoring/training/performance accountability daily verifying
completion of assigned tasks through a hands-on inspection process, identifying deficiencies and incorporating
corrective actions/follow-up to eliminate. In regard to hi-lo experience, I have 21 years’ experience and have a
current license. Experienced with propane, electric, diesel standard fork/extended fork/push-pull/squeeze
clamp-rotating. Also have extensive experience operating JIB articulation boom lifts, man lift scissor lifts,
Raymond vertical and horizontal extendable mast. In regard to production and process technician experience, I
was certified @ Cascade Engineering for Certified Mold Change, Chain and Crane. Mold pulls, sets, set-ups
and troubleshooting with 1000 ton, 3000 ton, 4500 ton and 9000 ton presses. Experience with Battenfeld,
TPM, Toshiba presses. Robot set-ups and troubleshooting. Blender set-ups, color changes and troubleshooting.
All related secondary equipment set-up and troubleshooting including: Drillers, Hot-Stampers, Pinners,
Horizontal and Vertical Stackers, components, all to Bill Of Material set-up specifications. Please refer to

Very analytical and detail oriented. I have restored a quality structural condition to the Hampton property
which had been lacking previously for many years; improvement reflected in on-site quality audits and guest

Meet with all Dept. Heads daily, and schedule all tasks accordingly. Follow-up on previous day activities
for all three shifts to verify completion of tasks. Identify performance deficiencies and resolve. Physical walk-
through plant audit daily to verify GMP compliance. Daily/weekly employee and clean-up labor scheduling.
Order/receive/unload sanitation supplies including shop supplies and controlled chemicals and return empties.
Writing and implementation of Master Sanitation Schedule(MSS) utilizing Excel format including
equipment/task descriptions and frequencies. This format I created has been used as the corporate and plant
level format since 2007.
Writing and implementation of Equipment Specific and Facility Structural Sanitation Standard Operating
Procedures(SSOP's). I have written hundreds of sop’s, which are the approved documents for plant level
practice, step by step, first to last, for every change. I utilized Excel originally until SQF standard
implementation. Then converted all SSOP’s to that standard using the approved Word template.
Clean-Up/Changeover management and documentation for all facility Zone 1,2,3,4 production line
equipment, individual dept.'s, entire interior/exterior structure to industry food safety standards. (CIP) clean in
place and (COP) clean out of place set-up/training/usage. I had direct involvement in the entire process
including establishing labor requirements for wet and dry changeovers, creating clean-up packets to structure
the clean identifying the proper people for each task and time allotted. Utilize KPI boards for every change to
monitor-evaluate start/finish times, type of change, mss tasks to be completed, and any issues arising that
would negatively delay the clean. Supervised from 11 – 25 sanitation personnel daily, and up to 100
production personnel during multiple cleans.
Supervise Integrated Pest Management Program. Daily inspection of facility to ensure no activity or
development of harborage points. Weekly walk through and communication with Ecolab.
Writing / implementation and training of janitorial programs with the emphasis on detail, promoting food
safety with approved methods, practices, chemicals, transition areas and GMP compliance.
Mentor/trainer to managers, supervisors, foremen, operators. Developed and helped promote staff, including
a current plant sanitation manager, a business unit sanitation manager, and a third shift sanitation supervisor.
Also trainer for hi-lo, man lift, jib articulation equipment including class room training, equipment training,
testing and licensing of qualified staff.
Identify new methods and equipment to continuously improve performance and reduce overall

With respect to sanitation / janitorial / building maintenance programs, creation/implementation/continuous validation through a detailed master sanitation program and standard operating procedures, in-depth mentoring/training/performance accountability daily verifying completion of assigned tasks through a hands-on inspection process, identifying deficiencies and incorporating corrective actions/follow-up to eliminate. In regard to hi-lo experience, I have 21 years’ experience and have a current license. Experienced with propane, electric, diesel standard fork/extended fork/push-pull/squeeze clamp-rotating. Also have extensive experience operating JIB articulation boom lifts, man lift scissor lifts, Raymond vertical and horizontal extendable mast. In regard to production and process technician experience, I was certified @ Cascade Engineering for Certified Mold Change, Chain and Crane. Mold pulls, sets, set-ups and troubleshooting with 1000 ton, 3000 ton, 4500 ton and 9000 ton presses. Experience with Battenfeld, TPM, Toshiba presses. Robot set-ups and troubleshooting. Blender set-ups, color changes and troubleshooting. All related secondary equipment set-up and troubleshooting including: Drillers, Hot-Stampers, Pinners, Horizontal and Vertical Stackers, components, all to Bill Of Material set-up specifications. Sanitation Manager, Supervisor, Foreman (Apr 2003 - Apr 2014) Roskam Baking Company, Various Plants, Grand Rapids, Michigan Meet with all Dept. Heads daily, and schedule all tasks accordingly. Follow-up on previous day activities for all three shifts to verify completion of tasks. Identify performance deficiencies and resolve. Physical walk- through plant audit daily to verify GMP compliance. Daily/weekly employee and clean-up labor scheduling. Order/receive/unload sanitation supplies including shop supplies and controlled chemicals and return empties. Writing and implementation of Master Sanitation Schedule(MSS) utilizing Excel format including equipment/task descriptions and frequencies. This format I created has been used as the corporate and plant level format since 2007. Writing and implementation of Equipment Specific and Facility Structural Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures(SSOP's). I have written hundreds of sop’s, which are the approved documents for plant level practice, step by step, first to last, for every change. I utilized Excel originally until SQF standard implementation. Then converted all SSOP’s to that standard using the approved Word template. Clean-Up/Changeover management and documentation for all facility Zone 1,2,3,4 production line equipment, individual dept.'s, entire interior/exterior structure to industry food safety standards. (CIP) clean in place and (COP) clean out of place set-up/training/usage. I had direct involvement in the entire process including establishing labor requirements for wet and dry changeovers, creating clean-up packets to structure the clean identifying the proper people for each task and time allotted. Utilize KPI boards for every change to monitor-evaluate start/finish times, type of change, mss tasks to be completed, and any issues arising that would negatively delay the clean. Supervised from 11 – 25 sanitation personnel daily, and up to 100
