This document outlines a 5-day lesson plan for teaching 23 third grade students about the fictional world of Harry Potter. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the Harry Potter universe and utilize various multimedia tools. The goal is for students to learn the 5 main literary elements, conduct research, and showcase their work using tools like podcasts, videos, and wikis. Activities will include reading assignments, watching videos, participating in online discussions, and creating multimedia projects. On the final day, students will complete an assessment by finishing a comprehensive wiki.

3. Main Objective
I will be teaching a group of 23 Third Grade students (10 female, 13
male, 4 African American children, and 19 Caucasians) the fictional
world of Harry Potter where students will be able to do all of the
following after the unit: identify all 5 literary elements, conduct
independent research at a beginner level, and utilize multimedia
tools of all kinds to showcase their work and findings. The students
will obtain these skills by participating in the following activities:
listen to summaries via podcast, watch voki narrations that explain
each of the 5 literary elements, reading preselected Facebook posts
where a response will be required, creating a comprehensive wiki
showcasing their findings, create and watch informative YouTube
videos, watch photostories, follow various QR codes, listen to
podcasts, use Twitter to find definitions, read and comment on blogs,
complete webquests, creating poster advertisements, create graphic
organizers, watch video of arts and bots lesson aid, create an altered
images, creating a podcast, creating a breaking news article using
given template, completing an assignment on the SmartBoard,
watching a video on arts and bots, updating a wiki, and taking
surveys before we start. The children will achieve this in no less than
5 days with an 80% accuracy.
