These skills are essential in creating media and information that will be posted on
different digital platforms. It should be based on facts, not opinions, to become more
reliable and accurate. Becoming a media and information creator requires being more
wise in finding valuable information before posting it. It should not be offensive or
hurtful to the audience, and most importantly, it should have relevance.
6. WHY ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND TIMELINESS IS
IMPORTANT?
As a media and information creator, accuracy is a
crucial characteristics because inaccurate
information can cause significant problems with
severe consequences. As well as the reliability
because in today’s digital world regardless of
what source collected the information or where it
resides, it cannot contradict a value residing in a
different source or collected by a different
system. While the timeliness, there must be a
valid reason to collect the information to justify
the effort required, which also means it has to be
collected at the right moment in time.
