PURPOSES:
Get the reader interested in your paper.
Tell the reader what you are writing about.
The introduction may explain why the topic is relevant
or why you have written the paper.

Start with a quote that is related to your topic.
Start with a short story or anecdote related to your topic.
Pull important phrases of your work and use it as a quote
to get you started.

This is where the elaboration of your introduction takes place.
