o Siemens Westinghouse W501D5 & W501F
o Mitsubishi M501F
• The team performed over 150 tunes in 2016 and was involved in DLN conversion projects &
several PSM AutoTune installations & upgrades.
Senior Manager – Product Development (R&D) 2007 – 2012
• Managed a group of engineers responsible for the design of Dry Low NOx (DLN) combustion
systems. Responsibilities included program management of several multi-million dollar
combustor projects & personnel management.
• Highlights include the development of the PSM 7FA DLN2.6 combustor and design
enhancements to the PSM 7FA Low ∆P combustor.
• Duties also included customer support of the fielded product.
Lead Engineer – Product Development (R&D) 2000 – 2006
• Lead engineer in the design of low-emissions gas turbine combustors. Responsibilities included
mechanical design, project management and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Highlights include the development of the Frame 6B & 9E dual-fuel industrial gas turbine
combustors.
Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, West Palm Beach, FL
Principal Engineer 2006 – 2007
• Design lead on a reverse engineering project for the PWPS 7FA DLN2.6 combustor.
• Led a team of engineers in the establishment of wear & defect limits for the F119 Turbine
Exhaust Case & Augmentor components
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer & Project Lead 1994 - 2000
• Planned and led multifunctional teams in the design, analysis, and fabrication of gas turbine
hardware. Duties included oversight of mechanical design, structural analysis, heat transfer,
drafting & outsourcing efforts, including interfacing with the customer.
Mechanical Design / Analytical Engineer 1986 - 1993
• Designed & performed structural analysis on the Space Shuttle turbo-pump components,
including turbine vanes, structural housings, bolted flanges, & bearing compartments.
