Mesys offers a complete thickness measurement solution of top and bottom foils on calender
and of the total thickness after calender (please see layout here below)
We use last generation triangulation laser technology that we have adapted to this specific
application and its harsh environment. Our laser system has a very good accuracy (+/- 10
micron) and give a real thickness measurement using the calender roller as reference. We can
offer single point measurement or in scanning mode. For what regards post-calender
measurement we also suggest our laser technology or our USM technology for total weight.

Vinyl Calendering
For vinyl calender application we offer a complete measurement and control system: We use our
last generation of laser triangulation sensor for calender measurement and our USM weight
system for total measurement after calender. Where it is necessary to have e thickness
