INTRODUCTION
This course is designed to introduce students to basic concepts and techniques of management.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. Explain the evolution, environment and principles of management.
2. Apply the principles of management in various contexts and to address managerial problems and issues affecting
organizations in Kenya
3. Application in the latter case challenges students not only to master the theory of management, but also to be
