present the latest range of electric glasslined water heaters aimed at
improving the quality of your daily comfort.
Ferroli the latest line of glasslined electric water heater which combine
advanced technology with an essential yet very versatile design, mean-
ing the appliances can be installed in both existing homes and modern
residential structures.
The series are available in models with capacities of 5 liters (either
above or under sink) to the large 500 liters, vertical or horizontal.
The new production lines for the Ferroli glasslined electric water heater
are highly auto-mated. An effective computerized control system guar-
antees the standardization of high level of quality achieved.
The checks performed from the design phase right up to final testing
reflect the consolidated strategy of The European Multinational Giant

BLUE FOREVER HEATING ELEMENT PATENT TECHNOLOGY
Blue Forever Heating Element is the new generation of ultra
strong heating element, made with PLUS technology, and
comes from Ferroli globe R&D center in San Bonifacio. Such
patent technology has been studied to reduce calcareous
phenomena and it makes the new heating element guaranteed
forever. At the same time, by reducing calcareous, the high
heating efficiency can be last for all the product life, that
grantees the products works always at high efficiency and
energy saving.

Earth leakage circuit breaker
EARTH LEAKAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER
Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) is a safety device
that disconnects a circuit whenever it detects a unbal-
anced current, which may be caused by current leakage
through the body of people touching the electriferous part
of the circuit accidentally. ELCB is designed to disconnect
quickly enough to mitigate the harm caused by the shocks
come from the unbalanced current.

WORK PRINCIPLE

Internal mechanism of ELCB
When the reset button (3) is pressed the contacts (4) and hidden behind (5)
close, allowing current to pass. The solenoid (5) keeps the contacts closed
when the reset button is released.
The sense coil (6) is a differential current transformer which surrounds ( but
is not electrically connected to) the live and neutral conductors. In normal
operation, all the current down the live conductor returns up the neutral
conductor. The currents in the two conductors are therefore equal and oppo-
site and cancel each other out.
Any fault to earth, for example caused by a person touching a live compo-
nent in the attached appliance, causes some of the current to take a differ-
ent return path which means there is an imbalance (difference) in the
current in the two conductors (single phase case), or, more generally, a
nonzero sum of currents from among various conductors (for example,
three phase conductors and one neutral conductor).
This difference causes a current in the sense coil (6) which is picked up by
the sense circuitry (7). The sense circuitry then removes power from the
solenoid (5) and the contacts (4) are forced apart by a spring, cutting off the
electricity supply to the appliance.
The device is designed so that the current is interrupted in a fraction of a
second, greatly reducing the chances of a dangerous electric shock being
received.

disassembling the heating element, avoiding the opening of the
flange that is always risky for the water heater performance

lasting life of the glasslined tank.

FLANGE AND BLUE SILICON THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE
EASY AND SAFE MAINTENANCE
INNOVATION FLANGE SYSTEM
No special tools needed for maintenance. Thanks to several years’ field
study, this structure is created to determine the right pressure for the
screw without use a dynamometric key that is necessary to reach the
right pressure to seal the screw. It becomes very easy and safe for
plumbers and the end users to make maintenance and cleaning the tank.
NEOPRENE GASKET SYSTEM
Best choice for water heater sealing structure. Extra long life and excel-
lent elastic characters, need not be changed after every maintenance. No
bad rubber smell as other materials, clean and healthy for the user and
good for environment protection.
HEALTHY BLUE SILICON ENAMELING COATING
The special shock-proofing and corrosion-proofing treatment inside the
tank is ensured by blue silicon enamel powder coating process,
performed using the most advanced electrostatic application techniques.
The sub sequent baking in a furnace at 870

C guarantees the best condi-
tions for the perfect glass lining on the tank, guaranteeing quality and
long life.
The high standard of enameling technology improves the purity of the
water, and makes it perfectly healthy, uniform average coating thickness
of 250 microns.

With water electricity separation heating technology, safety earthing protection,
independent leakage protection, fault self-diagnosis protection, anti-over-temperature,
anti-dry-heating, anti-spraying and low water flow protection, the water quality
is purified by filter screen so as to extend the service life of water heater.
Energy conversation
Power is adjustable and suitable for using in any season. Owing to the instant-on function,
pre-heating is not needed, with heat preservation, water saving an energy conservation
High efficiency
Nickel alloy heater is specially designed with good thermal conductivity and its thermal
efficiency can be as high as 95%. Plus the advanced anti-scaling technology, scale
cannot be formed and the thermal transmission can be faster.
Convenience
Without necessary pre-heating, this product can provide you with hot water at desirable
temperature in several seconds after startup. It can start at low water pressure, even at
lowest water pressure of 1.3L/min. Also it is fitted with the pressure pump
(only for high and medium grade type DIVO-SSP & DIVO-SDP). So the water heater
could bring you more convenient and faster bath.
