2. Joe Carabini
• Joe is 18 years old are in his last year of sixth form at The
Windsor Boys’ School.
• He started studying media at AS level and managed a C grade at
AS. He was satisfied with this but hopes to achieve higher this
year.
• Last year he particularly enjoyed the filming and camerawork
and scouting for the best props, costumes and locations.
• His target is to improve his editing skills this year.
3. Cameron McDade
• Cameron is 17 and currently in his last year at The Windsor Boys’
School.
• He has started studying media at AS and last year managed to get a D
grade at AS. He hopes to improve this grade at A2 and particularly
improve his film product.
• Cameron’s strongest when editing and finds this enjoyable as he
excels in this area.
• However, he would like to improve his performance in the written
coursework.
4. Himmet Bahra
• Himmet is also 17 and studying in his last year at The Windsor Boys’
School.
• Himmet also only started studying media at AS level but he gained a B
grade in his first year of studying the subject. He was delighted with
this grade and hopes to build upon it at A2.
• This B grade shows that Himmet adjusted quickly to Media Studies,
particularly developing a great understanding of the technology
involved.
• Despite this, he feels that his camerawork and shot variety was poor
last year due to a lack of experience. He aims to improve these weak
points this year.
5. As a group
• Our group has a solid understanding of Media Studies and we are
confident that we can produce a top quality music video which is
accompanied by good written coursework and research tasks.
• Our biggest concern would be the lack of experience within our group
as all members have only been studying the subject for one year
previous.
• However, we believe that we can combat this by catching up with our
knowledge by watching tutorial videos on Youtube to learn new skills
and expand our understanding of technical skills such as editing and
camerawork.
