2. Women • Women will probably tend to stay away from our film
as it is violent and boxing is seen as a ‘male sport’.
However it is a drama involving love which is what
women are stereotyped to watch in society. However
even though it’s a sports film there will be exception to
the usual stereotypical view that women wont be
interested in our film as some women are really into
sport. In our film we have a female trainer which also
might entice women to watch it as it is not commonly
seen in fighting movies.
3. Young
people
• Young people are our target audience in our film as
they are the ones who tend to watch movies of all
genres. Furthermore, young people tend to like films
that have a comeback story and gives you an
adrenaline rush when the comeback happens.The
outfits also used in the film are tracksuits which are
stereotypically t seen on young people as they are seen
as rebellious by the older generation. Young people
will also be encouraged to watch the film as they
always inspire to be like the star in the film
4. Men • Our film is also aimed at men for our target audience as
most of them are into sports such as boxing and like
movies such as rocky and southpaw which are also very
similar to our film.These films are usually are acted by
men which shows just how stereotypical it is for men to
be involved in all boxing films.
5. Parents • Our film can be targeted at parents as the film can be
watched as a family as the film is not childish and can
be watched by all. Parents are seen as quite mature
and our film fits perfectly with that as it is a drama
based on a possible real life situation based on a
celebrity which is what adults tend to find entertaining.
