THE QUESTIONS
3. WHO IS
THE TARGET
AUDIENCE?
• The primary targeted audience is for young
people from the ages 15 to the ages of 25. The
end goal is to encourage younger audiences to
form a bran allegiance to canon equipment and
services
4. Why is a
print advert
good for this
campaign?
• A print advert is a good idea for the campaign
because of the client is canon which are heavily
known for their quality cameras and the adverts
they produce which mainly are print adverts
showing off said cameras.
5. What I have I
learnt from
research into
existing
products?
• I Have researched into existing products to show
and help me understand print adverts. Two of
the adverts I researched into were print adverts
from canon. What was one of the biggest factors
I learnt was depending on the print advert
different slogans and colours will apeal to
different age groups.
• However I also realized that different adverts
have different focal points. One of my adverts
were talking about memories withing a camera
and other was advertising the camera itself.
6. Codes and
conventions
• In my print advertising I will follow the codes and
conventions of the typical canon adverts that I've
seen. I'm going to show the canon logo Aswell in
the print advert to advertise canon even more.
And this will look like canons is advertising
journey's
7. Ideas for print
adverts
• For my print advert I'm going to go down the
literal journey path and piece the journey into
one collage. My aim is to present a journey in a
colorful and positive manner whilst applying to
the client.
9. Ideas of fonts
and color's
• For the fonts I will use a the regular canon logo
font for the actual canon logo. In terms of color's
I'm going to have different color's for each panel
to make it stand out more and look more artistic.
This will contrast with the casual outfits and
locations.
10. Why do I think
my advert will
be successful?
• I do believe my advert will succeed
because of its unique style of poster
using multiple images and
spreading them out makes it more
interesting and new. Using a contact
sheet and adding colours will make
it a really good print advert. The
multiple pictures will be used for a
literal place in time to represent
moving in the different locations.
11. How do I think
my print advert
is right for the
client and their
needs
• The client for the print advert is
canon and my aim is creating this
advert to create a new and creative
idea relating to journeys. My idea for
the campaign is to show a literal
journey in this age. Which will give a
positive and creative look for canon. I
believe this is right for the client as it
links to a journey metaphorical and
literal. By also including a tagline that
will also relate to canon and
journeys.
12. How will it
appeal and
attract the right
audience?
• I believe will appeal to the right audience as
young people love journeys and love going out
this will attract there interest and that will attract
them and they will be able to relate and enjoy
the model.
