Personal Profile
My BSc with Honours and work experience have built my passion for biodiversity conservation. I
partake in local conservation activities and through university I conducted research in Borneo’s
rainforests and rhino notching in Kruger National Park. I have extensive experience of liaising with
the public, who at times can be demanding so there is a need for confidence and diplomacy.
Participation in fundraising events has given me an opportunity to educate the public, which I
thoroughly enjoy; and increase the profile of the business concerned. My customer service roles
and time spent working at an animal sanctuary have shown me to be an approachable and engaging
person.
Combining studies with other commitments required me to be self-motivated and efficient. I am no
stranger to strenuous work and getting my hands dirty, while ensuring health, hygiene and safety
standards. I have worked outdoors in all weathers, with early starts and late finishes to the day. As
well as working on my own initiative I am also a flexible and dynamic team member. I enjoy learning
and having new experiences as I believe they aid growth both personally and professionally; thus
leading to total job satisfaction.
