Work Experience:
Customer service/Retail/Store Manager/Sales at Cricket Wireless
(February 2010-October 2011) – Beginning as a sales representative, my responsibilities focused on the customer. I was
responsible for the opening of the store, restocking product shelves, and keeping track of inventory. My duties mainly
included handling customer needs, helping with bill pay, new contracts, and device selection/activation. I was then moved to
my own store, where I was manager. Unfortunately, these franchises are no longer operating.
Customer Service/Salesperson/Cashier/Sous Chef at Taco Punk Restaurant
(January 2012-December 2012) - Tended the Taco Bar, keeping everything clean and organized, while making sure salsas
and extras were fully-stocked at all times; realized a knack for spatial arrangement and presentation. While completing orders,
I also managed the cash register and all alcohol sales. In times of short staff, I assisted the kitchen staff in preparation
cooking, in keeping the cooler stocked. The head chef also called upon my assistance to finish overflow orders as quickly as
possible.
From February 2013 until September 2014 I lived in California, scouting colleges and working for a local organic farm. My
duties ranged from tending to produce care and upkeep, to household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I gained
a monumental appreciation for local business during this time, working with a huge variety of people from all walks of life.
Customer Service/Salesperson/Cashier/Front of house at River Road BBQ
(September 2015-Currently employed) - Manage cash register, and all cash/credit transactions. I am responsible for greeting
customers, taking orders, making sure that orders are correct and completed in a timely manner. I also manage all catering
orders:taking orders over the phone, collecting and packing orders when complete, prepping for pick up. I am also
responsible for keeping the front of the house clean, organized, and well stocked. This includes all extras, cutlery, drinks, and
courtesy items. I open the restaurant daily, cleaning all customer and food service areas, stocking and prepping for the day.
Guest Services/Retail/Security at The Frazier History Museum of Louisville
(January 2016-Currently employed) – I am responsible for attending to the Admissions desk for the museum. Here, I process
and handle all monetary transactions. Along with admissions, I also sell new and renewed museum memberships. With
membership purchases, I am responsible for recording and entering all data provided by the customer, as to assure the correct
processing of their membership. Working the front desk, I receive all groups and field trips coming into the museum. Group
and schoolvisits entail processing large orders, handling invoices, and giving short orientations to our visitors. In Guest
Services, having the ability to multitask is a must. Being the face of the museum, I accept all coming and going phone calls,
and visitors. The Frazier Museum hosts many nightly events, and is also a very popular event space for weddings,
conventions, meetings, etc. It is my job to welcome these guests, answer any questions they may have about their specific
event, and direct them to the appropriate part of the building. In the museum shop, I handle retail transactions, and sales
reports. My daily responsibilities include, processing profit reports, checking in new merchandise, labeling new products,
product placement and sales. With use of my knack for spatial arrangement, I place new products on the many displays and
tables around the store. In terms of security, I work in the parking lot. Here I charge all vehicles entering the lot for their
space, and give change and receipts accordingly. If a special event is going on, and different parking rules apply to certain
visitors, it is my job to keep these guests separate and accounted for. I keep an eye out for suspicious behavior, and also give
directions, or activity advice to tourists.
