I started work after my children went to school.
May 1991-1996
Started work at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
I started work in the club shop working 3 days a week. Answering calls and
serving customers but due to the continued success of the club under Jack
Walker I quickly established the need for Mail Order which ranged from dealing
with customers and arranging delivery of items. It went from strength to
strength. Eventually I became mail order and wholesale manager. Ordering
goods for the catalogue, input on the design of the catalogue. The export of all
goods to overseas location. Stock control, collections of money, inputting data
on the online system. Cash reconciliation. Updating accounts, chasing bad
debt.
1996-1997 Temporary Contract.
I started work at British Telecom.
I was fully trained in Customer service and telecommunication.
I worked in the 100 Operator Service department and Emergency call centre.

2. My duties included dealing with customers and directing them to the right
department or being able to deal with it myself. I arranged everything from
setting their alarms on their home phones to dealing with emergency service
999 calls. Listening to the person calling the emergency service until the
emergency call was dealt with.
1997-2002.
Started work at 3663.
Credit controller.
Duties included chasing bad debt on the sales ledger report. Communicating
with our customers and getting a good rapport with them so that they pay on
time and making sure the accounts are updated as soon as payment arrives.
Allocating payments to my accounts. Inputting all conversations on to the pc
accounts system. I had over 2000 accounts from the South East from
Oxfordshire to the Isle of Wight.
Opening new credit accounts, printing invoices, liasing with the credit control
manager on how to reduce bad debt and meeting targets set.
Updating results onto the system, bank reconciliation and liasing with the
finance office.
I left to move abroad.
When I came back to England I moved to the Isle of Wight.
2004-2005
Octopus Garden. Beatles theme café.
I was waiting on and serving food. Working in the kitchen cooking and
preparing meals. This was just part time for the summer period over 2
summers.
I also worked at the Union in Part time during the above time.
I served customers and arranged quizzes and set the questions which was very
successful.

3. 2006 2010
Pub manager.
Dealing with customers, bank reconciliation, beer and wine ordering. Food
preparation for lunch and evening meals.
Ordering food. Liasing with clients.
Dealing with invoices and matching them with orders, stock control and
reporting back to the owners.
2010 I had a bad car accident visiting my children who live in Southport which
stopped me working for some time. I almost broke my back and needed lots of
rehabilitation.
During this time I have re-trained in sage line 50, sage instant accounts and all
new book keeping courses. Office and excel from intermediate to up to date.
