2. What
 Hyperpigmentation expressions.
 Recreate the mutation in other organisms.
 There are three breeds of Gallus gallus with
fibromelanosis
 Ayam Cemani (originating from Indonesia)
 Svart Höna / Swedish Black Chicken (descendant of Ayam Cemani)
 Tuzo Argentina (variation from the Aseel, native to India)

3. How
 First step: order the codification of a type of Gallus
Gallus with fibromelanosis and the same type without
fibromelanosis
 Second step: identify the genome in charge of producing
melanin in the commonly know black rooster, a domestic
chicken with a mutation that causes hyperpigmentation.
 Third step: isolate the gene, and insert it in another
animal (rats); provoking the mutation and causing
fibromelanosis.

4. Why
 Military purposes
 Completely black Belgian Shepherds for attacks at night
 Pet/exotic animals lovers
 Any type of animal with this hyperpigmentation would have great
value on the market.
 Black pigs
 resist heat better
 Could survive in Africa where food is in scarcity
