I feel as if have developed my
Skills a lot through these tasks.
In my Prelim task
You can see I haven’t even
followed many of
the genre conventions. I think
my decision to
use a block colour
background in my final
piece works well as the cover
lines stand out more.
They are also all left aligned. I
also think my second
Image is more striking due to
better lighting but my
Editing skills also improved and
I learned how to use
the patch tool so I could edit
out the strap.
3. CONTENTS PAGE
Since the prelim task, I
started to understand
layers more and my work
became less empty.
I think the layout is much
better in my second one
and looks much more full
as a magazine as there is
less negative space. There
is a clearer understanding
of audience in the second
one and the features they
would like to see as I
stuggled to think of them
for my prelim contents
page. My photoshop skills
Have definitely improved.
