2. The first frame is a shot from the
ground looking up that has the artist’s
name superimposed over the footage.
3. Similar to the first shot, the second has
the same outline but instead of the
artist’s name it is the name of the song.
4. The next clip is an establishing shot that shows
the setting in which the video takes place. The
artist of the song appears in a pastel pink outfit
in the background and a boy is seen drawing a
pastel blue piano on the ground in chalk.
5. A mid shot of D.R.A.M. shows him
smiling and it set the tone of the
song to be a happy and fun one.
6. A shot of D.R.A.M. dancing on the chalk
piano is emphasised by the outline of
each key he steps on having a cartoon
graphic on it.
7. This close up of the previous shot allows
the audience to see the pastel colours up
close and also to appreciate the animation
of the yellow cartoon-y keys.
8. This shot again shows how colour is an important
element in the video with the bright green t shirt of the
boy and the pink shirt of the lady in the background.
9. This shot again emphasises how
playful the video is, with the artist
on a tricycle. This has elements of
child-lie behaviour and innocence.
10. This shot of the same scene but from
the front of the artist enforces the light
and happy mood.
11. The male gaze is still prominent in this video, with a
group of women seen scantily-clad posing on the lawn
of a house. Small red doodles are seen appearing
around the phone, the lips and the heads of these girls.
12. The final shot up is of D.R.A.M. shooting a money gun
as he passes by the girls. This indicates that these
girls are there to look pretty and to perform for him,
much like an adult dancer would perform for money.
