 Provider Development Process Project: 
Redesigned Provider Application Process for a network of more than 8000 mental health clinicians. 
Process improvements included: 
First-in-first-out network development protocol replaced with intelligent needs based logic (supported by 
mapping software), 17 page provider application replaced by a one page screening form, network development 
team re-design, streamlined network primary source verification and credentialing process. 
 Short Term Solution Focused Online Consultation Project (STSF-OC): 
Designed online consultation product/service for Department of Defense contract with approximately eight 
million covered lives. 
o Created online chat application to meet specific contractual obligation to provide EAP services for 
members outside of the continental U.S. 
o Developed a team of licensed, master’s level clinicians to provide mental health consultation in a 
virtual online chat environment. 
o Created a process control plan (data dashboard) to gauge the health of the STSF process. 
Outcome: 
o Product went from concept to roll-out in a period of three months. 
o Despite soft roll-out utilization surpassed existing telephonic consultation service by 400% in the 
first two months. 
o Resulted in the creation of cutting edge EAP technology.
Clinical 
 Audited all Duty to Warn clinical cases for dedicated Department of Defense Contract 
 Trained consultants in telephone interviewing and evaluative skills, documentation, crisis management, 
efficiency, and managing work stress. 
 Provided immediate consultation for crisis intervention, staff debriefing, affiliate referral determinations and 
other high-risk matters. 
 Supervised CEAP certification, advisement, and licensure for all clinical staff. 
 Provided clinical feedback to both supervisees and clinical management staff with regards to compliance with 
both company and Department of Defense protocol for reportable events.
