Planned, managed approval process and executed Capital Improvements to the track structure
spanning six states and 3,500 track miles, averaging 700-800 miles of track construction
annually. Monitored budgets on weekly basis to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Trained Maintenance of Way employees in On Track Worker Protection, Operating Rules and
FRA-Track Safety 49 CFR Parts 213 and 214. Responsible for Track Quality and Track Production
workmanship including Track Inspection to ensure restoration to service. Managed all efforts in
compliance with Capitol Program Policy and CSX Standards which exceed federal regulations.

Responsible for employee personal safety, Operating Rules, FRA-Track Safety 49 CFR Parts 213,
214 adherence, Track Maintenance and Track Inspection. Member of Safety Committee. Key
part of Grid Team, coordinating all aspects of outages, from rail traffic through personnel,
materials and all related details.
Key Accomplishments
• All departments and teams were 3 years injury free, first time ever on CSX.
• Direct reports totaled five Supervisors and 110 Employees in Track Maintenance.
• Responsible for all track maintenance of two major hump major yards in the Toledo
Area and numerous additional yards from East Chicago through Grand Rapids Michigan,
