2005 THE REHAB PROJECT | I designed a set of Bullhorns which is a tool utilized in all servicecrew
baskets to alleviatephysical strain to personnel in the liftingand handlingof equipment- this was
implemented and is currently used on site.
POLY ROLL CONTROLLER | I designed and made a tool for servicecrews to assistin rollingoutand
stretching2 and 4 inch poly pipingto reduce the chanceof poly rolls comingfreeof the roller and
injuringpersonnel –this was implemented and is currently utilised on site.
450 FUEL BAY SUMP CLEANING AREA EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT | In the haulagearea,I
implemented a “Change of Management” to eliminateunnecessary use of two pieces of machinery
and man power to clean the 450 fuel bay sump. These changes were approved by management and
have been implemented resultingin efficiency improvements with one operator ableto complete this
job with only one item of machinery
WINDOW WASHING STATION HEALTH AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENT | I designed an improvement to
the surfacetruck window washingstation to showmanagement how to eliminateinjuriesto haulage
operators cleaningtheir machinery at shiftend. This has been approved by management and is
planned for implementation.
HIGH RISK JOB ASSESSMENT TEAM | I was requested by management to be a member of the team to
complete a risk assessmentfor the high risk job of stope push offs as I have vastexperience and
knowledge of the equipment to be used to perform this job. The final risk assessmenthas been
processed and approved and is planned for implementation.
