Assistant Emergency Manager for the Marine Corps Support Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana
Initiated and developed the facility’s Respiratory Protection Program in accordance with OSHA’s regulations and standards
to include mask fitting procedures and the utilization of chemical detection equipment.
Developed and supervised the command’s training in Destructive Weather, Installation Evacuation, Shelter–in-Place and
Active Shooter scenarios.
Planning team member for the command’s Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planning Group and Mission Assurance
Working Group (MAWG).
Coordinated disaster response and crisis management activities, such as ordering evacuations and implementing
special needs plans and programs.

Unit Operations Course Manager
Served as the Course Manager and Chief Instructor for the 10-day Unit Operations Specialist (UOS) and Joint
Tactical Combat Operations Workstation (JTCW) administration course, which produced Marines trained in Ground
Unit Operations per the guidance of the Program of Instruction from the Marine Corp’s Training and Education
Command.
Developed and updated the courses curriculum and instructional materials.
Utilized various types of instructional media, developed learning objectives, analyzed learning needs and developed
assessment instruments.
Ensured the proper utilization of the course’s fiscal budget, facilities, academics, and logistical coordination as needed.
Assigned as the unit’s Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) and Intelligence Operations Workstation
(IOW) subject matter expert, providing technical support to multiple commands, including deploying Marine
Expeditionary Units (MEUs), in the areas of Command and Control (C2) Operations.
Infantry Unit Leader / Supervisor
Supervised, managed and coordinated the preparation of personnel, weapons and equipment for global training and

Supervised the establishment and operation of unit command posts, the fire and movement between tactical units, the

Assigned as the Personal Security Commander for the governor of Anbar Province in Iraq from 2005 to 2006.
