• Ensured claim edits and accounts receivables are resolved in an efficient and timely manner
• Monitored claims for payment by insurance companies, co-payments and self pays, resubmit claims for
payment with appropriate updates and documentation
• Responded to patient and third party inquiries, research and resolve problems, correct errors, review
correspondence and rejection data from insurance carriers, post rejections and balances in appropriate
financial classification
• Transferred secondary balances to appropriate financial class and provided documentation for processing
the claims, review Credit Letter Sent (CLS) and transmitted balance to appropriate financial class and
dunning level
• Prepared and submitted referring physician updates and other major dictionary or master file request
Patient Coordinator-FPA
• Customer service for thirteen divisions utilized a multi-lined phone system in the centralized call center
• Maintained a call center quota of 80 to 100 incoming calls daily, additional Zoc Doc online appointments
