 Carry out First Article Inspection & facilitate in Vendor Approval processes.

 Carry out Inspection of Heavy Fabricated component, Critical Machined component as well as of
various Turbine auxiliaries.
 Carry out System audits at supplier’s end and maintain records for supplier performance.
 Coordinate for & participate in Root Cause Analysis & CAPA for Non Confirming products from supplier.
 Prepare Quality Control Plan & Inspection Check sheets for out-sourced components.
 Monitor GRN ageing and prepare action plan to feed assembly on time.
 Monitor incoming rejection & carry out improvement activities at vendor's end.
 Participate in vendor approval process.
 Participate in technical discussions with vendor for order finalization.
 Carry out dispatch inspection of bought out items. (Direct dispatch from stores)
Achievements:
 Reduced incoming quality rejection from 1% to 0.14% FY 2015-16.
 Successfully planned and implemented SOP for sampling inspection.
 Devised and implemented system for NCRs generation & closer amongst Design dept, Planning dept,
Production dept. and Methods dept. in SAP.
 Customer complaints regarding Short/Wrong supply reduced by 30% during 2015-2016.
 Reduction in Non-conformity by 50% in LP Casings, LP Flow Guide, Housing for Slip Ring &Governing
Valve components.
 Devised and implemented system to monitor first pass yield of suppliers.
 Achieved total cost saving of Rs.2.3 crores FY 2015-16.

Industrial Training:
 Indo German Tool Room: Industrial training of six weeks is completed at IGTR, Vatva. The organization
is pioneer in tool design & die manufacturing technology as well as service provider to companies like
ISRO, TVS etc. This training helps me to get insight of overall manufacturing, planning & quality process
and its coordination with different departments.
Final Year Project:
 Development Parabolic Trough Collector: Guided by a Professor in PDPU (Gandhinagar) in construction
and analysis of Solar Heat collector efficiency.
Achievements / Extra Curricular activities:
 Event manager in SAMANNVAY’ 09, (the national level technical event organized by L.D Engineering
College) managed the event ‘JUNIOR SCIENTIST’.
 Event manager in the JOYFEST (part of national level non-technical events in which L.D. Engineering
College, Ahmedabad was a part of) managed the ‘FUN EVENTS’.
 Worked as organizational member in non-technical event YUVA’08 held at L.D. COLLEGE OF
