J.Manoharan has a wealth of experience in Design, Design review,
Sustainable design and significant practical knowledge in HVAC
Engineering. He has more than 20 years of Consultancy experience in
HVAC field.
He has proven Middle East experience, executing MEP aspects on a
variety of Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Hospital and Mixed use
development.
He has been responsible for the design of district cooling plants for large
scale projects such as Qatar Petroleum Head office (QP District, West
bay), Doha , Qatar and Salwa Beach Resort for PEO , Doha, Qatar.
He has design experience in Tier-3 Data Centre for QP District project.
He has worked as the Technical Lead on large scale mixed use
development such as QP District project which has 9 office tower (ranges
from 20 storey to 45 storey), 3 podium level, 3 level of basement car park,
Auditorium building, 4 star Hotel tower, parking building, Energy Centre
building. The Energy centre cooling plant capacity is 19000 TR. The
project cost is 6 billion QR.
He has also worked as Senior Engineer in the prestigious 250 Bed Al
Zahra Hospital, Dubai, 200 bed Umm Al Quwain Hospital, Type A, B and
C clinic for General Health Authority, Abu Dhabi .
J.Manoharan has been involved in projects going through the process of
Sustainable design, Estidama and LEED Certification namely Salwa
Beach Resort, Doha (1 Pearl), Carina View Residential Tower, Abu
Dhabi, QP District Doha (2 Pearl).
He has worked as Lead/ Project Engineer for Salwa Beach Resort project
which is 5 Star hotel development for PEO, Doha with Hilton as Hotel
operator. This project is a development in Sea front which has 200 nos.
Executive villas with VRF system, Main Hotel, Mosque, Sports Centre,
150 nos Arabic type villa, Staff village , Community Centre, Marina Asian
fusion restaurant, Utility Hub buildings, Light house, Substation’s,
Generator Building, Energy centre, Car park building and shopping mail
etc. The cooling load of this project is 10,000 TR. The project has multiple
restaurant such as Marina Asian Fusion, Sea food Restaurant etc around
10 nos. restaurant. The project cost is 3.2 billion QR.
He has also involved as Principal Engineer for major Car show room
projects such as Infiniti, Nissan and Hyundai show room in Kuwait and
Toyota Show room cum Corporate office at Muscat.
J.Manoharan is an excellent team player who can support and lead a
team effectively in successful completion of large projects, effectively
coordinating requirements with all parties involved. Involved in all aspects
of the project life cycle from life cycle analysis, design, review, value
engineering and finalization of tender documents to taking a lead role in
completing the project delivery through active participation, planning and

 Involved in maintaing existing and new Client relationships.
 Preparation of budgetary man hour schedule for new marketing projects.

 Responsible for the day to day management of the HVAC design team activities and

 Direct and coordinate the design team in the project execution, respond to RFI and site design

calculation carried out by the HVAC staff.
