WE HATE THIS CLASS OFWE HATE THIS CLASS OF
BEING FOR THE SAKE OFBEING FOR THE SAKE OF
ALLAHALLAH
• We hate this class of
beings for the sake of
Allah either totally like
the unbelievers or only
because of their bad
actions like the sinful
even though they are
still holding to the
original belief.
3 -3 - A MUSLIM ANDA MUSLIM AND
A DA’IAHA DA’IAH
• From this starting point aFrom this starting point a
Muslim must beautify hisMuslim must beautify his

• Whether he is a Da'iah orWhether he is a Da'iah or

mistakes are graver andmistakes are graver and
at him criticism isat him criticism is

to noble manners
and good conduct
is fulfilling the
responsibility laid
upon him by Allah,

Da’wah and its
followers from the
words of hating
biased opponents
and from the
allusions of the
hasty and the

1-1- TRUTHFULNESS INTRUTHFULNESS IN
SHOULDERINGSHOULDERING
ISLAMISLAM
We mean by this that a
Muslim adherence to the
teaching of Islam based on
truthfulness with Allah
And not on hypocrisy,
deception or adjustment to
the surrounding social life.
For this reason,
truthfulness in Quran is
mentioned opposed to
hypocrisy.
ALLAH MAYALLAH MAY
REWARD THE MENREWARD THE MEN
OF TRUTHOF TRUTH
• Quran 33:24 “That
Allah may reward
the men of truth
for their truth,
• And punish the
hypocrites if that
be his well, or turn
to them in mercy”

TRUTHFULNESSTRUTHFULNESS
IN SAYINGIN SAYING
Truthfulness in
sayings is an
indication of clear
personality with
valor [magiting],
nobility and
generosity.
No one would
resort to lying
except weak

• Therefore a Da'iah shouldTherefore a Da'iah should
not allow lies to come outnot allow lies to come out
from him.from him.
• Some Da'iahs resort toSome Da'iahs resort to
"allusions“ frequently by"allusions“ frequently by
saying something whichsaying something which
people will perceived in apeople will perceived in a
different meaning.different meaning.
• At a later time when theyAt a later time when they
understand what the Da'iahunderstand what the Da'iah
meant, they may accuse himmeant, they may accuse him
of lying.of lying.
• Another bad result of usingAnother bad result of using
allusions is the acceptanceallusions is the acceptance
of "white lies" on the pretextof "white lies" on the pretext
that they are for the commonthat they are for the common
interest. So beware!interest. So beware!
DA’IAH IS BEING TARGETS
OF BEING NUMEROUS
ATTACK
• Today, we knowToday, we know

attacks.attacks.
• Therefore, the Da'iahTherefore, the Da'iah

• Deeds of person mustDeeds of person must

worship for Allah andworship for Allah and

expects to meet hisexpects to meet his
Lord, let him workLord, let him work
righteousness, and inrighteousness, and in
the worship of his Lord,the worship of his Lord,

• Qur’an 67:2Qur’an 67:2 He whoHe who
created death and life,created death and life,
that He may try which ofthat He may try which of
you is best in deedyou is best in deed”
““BEST IN DEEDBEST IN DEED””
• Al-Fudail Ibn IyadhAl-Fudail Ibn Iyadh
explained "best in deed" asexplained "best in deed" as
the most sincere and mostthe most sincere and most
correct of deeds.correct of deeds.
• He was asked about theHe was asked about the
meaning of "most sinceremeaning of "most sincere
and most correct of deed,"and most correct of deed,"
• And he replied: If the workAnd he replied: If the work
was sincere but not correctwas sincere but not correct
it will not be accepted,it will not be accepted,
• And if it was correct butAnd if it was correct but
not sincere it will not benot sincere it will not be
accepted;accepted;
• It will be accepted only if itIt will be accepted only if it
is both sincere and correct.is both sincere and correct.
WE ARE ALSO INWE ARE ALSO IN
NEED OF DA’IAH’SNEED OF DA’IAH’S
• WhoWho beautifiesbeautifies
themselves with noblethemselves with noble
deedsdeeds
• And who will keepAnd who will keep
their calmnesstheir calmness
• And moderation evenAnd moderation even
when provokedwhen provoked
• So that when peopleSo that when people
see them they will saysee them they will say
loudly: These are theloudly: These are the
manner of prophets.manner of prophets.
• Our truthfulness inOur truthfulness in
shouldering ourshouldering our
Da’wah is what makesDa’wah is what makes
other accept ourother accept our
religion.religion.
THE SUCCESS OFTHE SUCCESS OF
THE DA’IAHTHE DA’IAH
• We conclude that the
first mean for the
success of the Da'iah is;
• His truthfulness in
shouldering the Da’wah,
• His seriousness in
pursuing it,
• And that truthfulness in
sayings and actions are
his banner and way of
life.
NOT IMPORTANTNOT IMPORTANT
TO SAY SWEETTO SAY SWEET
BEAUTIFULBEAUTIFUL
WORDSWORDS
•It is not important
to say sweet
beautiful words --
even if it is
required -- but
what is more
important is
truthfulness,
•Being consistent
and in harmony
with oneself and
that words are

Patience is the
associate of
certainty

Quran 32:24 “And we
appointed, from
among them,
leaders, giving
guidance under Our
command, so long as
they persevered
with patience and

One can easily
abandon his
religion
because of
any obstacle
and to give up
his way and
lose his
wisdom

• Thinking they
are not
achieving
anything.
• Afterwards, he
regrets his
decision
painfully when
he realizes the
emptiness that
is greatly felt
behind him.

dependence upon Allahdependence upon Allah

Allah, guide me inO. Allah, guide me in the best of conduct forthe best of conduct for none but You guidenone but You guide anyone (in) goodanyone (in) good conduct.conduct. • Remove from me theRemove from me the worst of conduct, forworst of conduct, for none else but You cannone else but You can remove the worst ofremove the worst of
  • 4. 1-1- PRAYERS FORPRAYERS FOR NOBLENOBLE CONDUCTCONDUCT I am at Your serviceI am at Your service and grace is to Youand grace is to You and the whole of goodand the whole of good is in Your hands andis in Your hands and evil cannot beevil cannot be attributed to You.attributed to You. My (power as well asMy (power as well as existence) is due toexistence) is due to You and I turn to youYou and I turn to you (for supplication).(for supplication). You are blessed andYou are blessed and You are exalted”You are exalted” (Muslim1/535).(Muslim1/535).

(Al-Termidhi 5/563). •“O Allah, I ask You to guard me from: •Disability and laziness, •Cowardice and avarice [kasakiman], •Senility [pagka-ulyanin] and cruelty, •Negligence and poverty, •Lowliness and submissiveness (Al-Mustadrak 1/530,531).

PRAYERS FOR NOBLE CONDUCTPRAYERS FOR NOBLE CONDUCT And I ask You to protectAnd I ask You to protect me from:me from: Deafness andDeafness and dumbness,dumbness, Insanity,Insanity, leprosy and the worstleprosy and the worst of diseasesof diseases” (Al-Mustadrak” (Al-Mustadrak 1/530,531).1/530,531).

ALSO INCLUDEDALSO INCLUDED ARE THE OTHERARE THE OTHER CLASSESCLASSES The devils,The devils, Unbelievers,Unbelievers, Hypocrites,Hypocrites, And people strayingAnd people straying away from the straightaway from the straight path doing dissolutepath doing dissolute actions [mahiligactions [mahilig manggulo o samanggulo o sa masama].masama].

WE HATE THIS CLASS OFWE HATE THIS CLASS OF BEING FOR THE SAKE OFBEING FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAHALLAH • We hate this class of beings for the sake of Allah either totally like the unbelievers or only because of their bad actions like the sinful even though they are still holding to the original belief.

MUST BE MOREMUST BE MORE COMMITTEDCOMMITTED • The Muslim has toThe Muslim has to beautify his characterbeautify his character with noble manners,with noble manners, • And then the Da'iah,And then the Da'iah, who carries the flag ofwho carries the flag of Da’wah, must be moreDa’wah, must be more committed to noble andcommitted to noble and good conduct.good conduct. • To him looks are moreTo him looks are more attentive, from himattentive, from him mistakes are graver andmistakes are graver and at him criticism isat him criticism is harder.harder. • His Da’wah shouldHis Da’wah should manifest itself throughmanifest itself through his character first, thenhis character first, then his word.his word.

FULFILLING THEFULFILLING THE RESPONSIBILITYRESPONSIBILITY •A Da'iah committed to noble manners and good conduct is fulfilling the responsibility laid upon him by Allah, •Protecting the Da’wah and its followers from the words of hating biased opponents and from the allusions of the hasty and the

  • 17. 1-1- TRUTHFULNESS INTRUTHFULNESS IN SHOULDERINGSHOULDERING ISLAMISLAM We mean by this that a Muslim adherence to the teaching of Islam based on truthfulness with Allah And not on hypocrisy, deception or adjustment to the surrounding social life. For this reason, truthfulness in Quran is mentioned opposed to hypocrisy.
  • 18. ALLAH MAYALLAH MAY REWARD THE MENREWARD THE MEN OF TRUTHOF TRUTH • Quran 33:24 “That Allah may reward the men of truth for their truth, • And punish the hypocrites if that be his well, or turn to them in mercy”
  • 19. 2-2- TRUTHFULNESSTRUTHFULNESS IN SAYINGIN SAYING Truthfulness in sayings is an indication of clear personality with valor [magiting], nobility and generosity. No one would resort to lying except weak
