Demonstrate expertise on economic concepts and theories necessary to
understand the functioning of the economy for economic analysis and policy-
making.
■ Familiarize the terms and concepts commonly used in discussions of economic issues
■ Effectively communicate economic ideas, problems, and findings to those needing the information

Develop skills in the formulation of project proposals, undertaking of economic
researches, solving mathematical problems and constructing economic
models.
■ Prepare project proposals, feasibility/research studies and policy proposals
■ Prepare and complete economic researches applying qualitative and quantitative methods in
economics
■ Present the project proposals, feasibility/research studies and policy proposals in a proper forum
■ Frame and solve problems in economics, using concepts such as optimization, equilibrium, and the
incentives faced by economic agents
■ Utilize effectively various mathematical and statistical tools to interpret economic data and address an
economic case problem

■ Utilize computer software like SPSS, STATA, Mathematica and the like in economic data processing

PSU Economics Web 2.0 is an improved version education
website of the AB Economics Program in PSU Lingayen
Campus which educates visitors particularly students
providing them with knowledge and worthwhile information
about Economics and serves an educational tool that help
students find rich organized resources necessary to gain
experience in direct support of online learning. Likewise, the
website informs and updates the students and stakeholders
on the various things the AB Economics Program does
because the portal showcases and manages the activities in
academics, research and extension over the web.

The huge popularity of the internet as a social networking,
business and educational tool paved its way for the growth
of websites that make it possible to strengthen brand and
professional positions in the organization, industry and even
educational institutions. Thus, integrating technology in
emergent education by having a Course Website is essential
because this greatly enhances communication and learning
between the teachers and the students. The website is a
means of distributing information and providing support to
students and serves as a great virtual presentation of what
an organization is doing and offering its clients and
stakeholders.
To realize the undertaking, this website named PSU
Economics: Think. Educate. Share Web Portal has been made
to provide an online place for AB Economics students of
Pangasinan State University – Lingayen Campus to gain
