To Whom it may concern,
This is a letter of recommendation on behalf of Jim Cicman. Jim and I both worked many years at
Superior Tube Company in Collegeville, Pa. I got to know him there and was impressed with his work
ethic and intelligence.
Through most of the time I knew Jim at Superior, he worked in the Sales Department in analytical type
positions. He used his computer skills and knowledge of the business to supply management with
informational reports and answers to unending questions regarding the status of the business, sales of
various products and the like.
It was because of his skill at doing this type of work that he eventually was asked to work in my
department (the Information Systems Department). As a result, he worked for me as a programmer for
the last year that I was at the company. Jim continued in that capacity for the new Director of Systems
after I retired.
I know Jim as a likable guy who is a serious worker and someone on whom you can depend.
Furthermore, I believe Jim conducts his life according to a set of high principled values that, sadly, are
too often missing in today's society.
It is with no reservations that I highly recommend Jim to any prospective employer or other
relationship.
