Editor's Notes
The 5 W’s of marketing are extremely important when it comes to planning how your going to market a product or your business. It brings a clear propose to your marketing and helps formulate a structured plan on how your going to tackle and implement your marketing. https://www.cocoonfxmedia.co.uk/digital-marketing
There has to be a reason why you are wanting to create a marketing strategy and why you need a plan. There will be reason why you need to plan that could be increasing sales of your products or making people recognise your company through brand positioning and brand awareness.
You have now established why you want to market and established the type of marketing you want to do. You now need to identify who you want to market to. This will be a persona. This person will be referred to a name and they will have individual patterns on how they will be and interact with your brand. They will have a financial figure attached to them, they may have particular interests. A role within an organisaton. You may find that you have 2 or 5 different types of people who would have all different buying patterns and behavoirs.
The persona will then have a service and you need to decide what this service is. You then need to look at how your product benefits your client, What they’re likely to spend and what kind of timescale it will take to win their business. What touch points are you going to use for example; direct mail, email marketing, brochures, blogs etc..
When are you going to take this to market, how long are you going to market for. When are you going to use the touch points to market to them.
Where you going to market your products, local papers, social media and which one. Are you going to use Google Adwords, business networks.
