Working Title:
Snap, Action
Audience:
My audience, as decided through abbreviation towards the chosen genre, comes under targeting
towards 16 – 40 year olds, both genders equally, and the lower – mid social classes around
income in their families (when acknowledging demographics), and most obviously photography
orientated interests, predominantly strives, and finally living in and around the Yorkshire region
being optional (in recognition of psychographics).
In regards towards the stated demographics previously mentioned, we will begin in awareness that
I have targeted my audience towards 16 – 40 year olds, this is primarily because I have identified
in recent events a significant uprising in the younger generation around this movement, alongside
this it is important to consider our historic backgrounds, all of which photography can withhold this
from disappearing in the near future with recent ongoing events (global warming), and so
conservation in learning these new skills is important; furthermore, it seems most obvious that are
youth is becoming increasingly less social with recent technologies and their parents are wanting
change, from which why teaching photography can be both very beneficial for the pair, getting their
children developing new skills and going outside more frequently whilst improving their general
wellbeing in this topic. Additionally, I had also mentioned both genders equally will be targeted, this
is quite profound that this genre doesn’t specifically target a certain form because it is important
get across the idea that everybody can partake in this activity, not because its easy to preform, but
because society holds a lot of ideals around being a man or women, this being something which
needs to be changed and can be altered efficiently through photography and or other similar
activities. And most finally around demographics, the lower – mid social classes around income in
their families will be evoked throughout my magazine, and this is predominantly because across
these poorer backgrounds a source of escapism is key around both entertainment and wellbeing
values – for other tasks may be too expensive and or challenging with their budgets – from which
photography can develop, because it can be both inexpensive, through using a phone camera,
and healthy, when required to adventure either your local or distant areas.
Now focusing towards psychographics that had been previously mentioned, we will begin in
addressing my magazine towards strivers (as part of the psychometrics) , this is mainly because I
have orientated my publication to new, and or aspiring photographers or people would like to
improve their abilities around this movement; it is important to identify this because I will be
including stories, advertisements, and guides towards equipment, skills, and creative thinking
when partaking in photography, all of which specifically targets mainly strivers through improving
their qualities when handling a camera. Alongside this, I will partly address elements within my
illustration to involve achievers; by incorporating news on new cameras and equipment, this can
evoke interest towards these more advanced audiences in this genre, evidently increasing the
capacity of my consumers that my magazine will engage most efficiently, and in making the brand
name ‘Snap’ much more profound in this industry for both magazine and photography. Next, and
most obviously, this will engage audiences with photography orientated interests, and I will
strongly evoke these feelings of fascination by frequently, if not all the time, forwarding my different
articles, tutorials, and advertisements around this topic; additionally, I will also reflect some newly
found skills and clubs from which they could further their abilities and knowledge in the movement
– this could also be pushed through the inclusion of commands, persuading and motivating
themselves to get even more engaged than they are already perceiving. And most finally, coming
under an optional status, this source would be most appropriate towards people living within the
Yorkshire area, it is important here to justify that the construction of the publication consists within
the heart of the Yorkshire region, giving reasoning behind all of the images having been sourced
from within this district, and to why it would most effectively suit locals – for it would be evidently
relatable, which develops a sense of connection and loyalty to the brand, pushing sales and
increasing the amount of engagement throughout my audience and the magazines brand name
(helping future events with its recognisable identity).

Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Across the series of tasks acquired, I have developed a range of knowledge alongside skills from
which will most definitely support my future progress in assignments, production and work related
ethics, these consisting of management, organisation, software skills and flourishing a greater
interest/expertise upon the media industry. It is manageable to say that these will most doubtlessly
support my progress in not just only college years, but also future job related causes and activities,
all which will reflect in the progress of my education when this begins to thrive even more so than it
already is. Using these skills gathered, I will manage deadlines more efficiently and produce a
sufficient amount of work, all of which will be in high detail from the knowledge I have accumulated
across my years of education.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
In recognition of the current project in hand, I will evidently achieve in constructing a magazine
around the photography genre; specifically, I will be reflecting a large variety of skills, tutorials, and
informative judgements on this movement that is only increasing in popularity, regarding why my
target audience consists around the younger generation from ages 16 – 35, through clear
evidence within schools and significance of holding out our following historic background in image
format. This magazine mentioned will be called ‘Snap’, supporting the style even more so than it is
already being reflected in the content within, but it is more aimed towards new/aspiring audiences
within the interest of photography, offering guides, kick starters and general knowledge around this
faction; even though this is the main public congregation of people I will be addressing my
publication towards, it will also include aspects for the more professional and expertise in ability
around this subject, through some new features of equipment and creative thinking around
capturing an illustration with meaning and purpose of the scenario.
However, before the production of this concept begins, a range of research factors is necessary in
gathering accurate interests, proficiency, and requirements to include in ‘Snap’; consisting of
researching stereotypical magazine features, purposes behind instructive methods, and local
contacts in the vicinity of my workspace, this could all be gathered sufficiently without reducing of
my allotted time for construction in the production phase – all of which benefits significantly in the
end process, accomplishing an outstanding end product with high detail, sufficient amount of work
beside with justifications to all my processes.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
After production of the magazine, I intend on frequently referencing, identifying and justifying the
different process and elements I had incorporated/used in the creation of both my front cover and
double page spread for the brand I had made (Snap). Additionally, it is important to identify that in
awareness of these features and justifications, this doubtlessly will support my progress in not just
only college years, but also future job related causes and activities, all which will reflect in the
progress of my education and career when this begins to thrive even more so than it already is.
