In the first half of the year
students will explore the myths
of Ancient Greece and Rome.
This topic will be broken up
into three different areas of
study : Heroes and
Monsters, Myth and
Archaeology and Myths in Art
and Literature.

• Clarify the relationship between myth and

• Discuss different representations of Greek and
Roman Myths

In the second half of the year students
examine classical works, exploring the
material, political and intellectual life of
Classical Greece and Rome.
