2. I attracted and addressed my
audience through the use of language
and design. Firstly the language for
my sell lines on the front page was
clear and to the point (e.g. Caeser
Hears You! The Mail With Gale).
Using phrases like attention, while
also appropriately addressing them by
the caused sense of the phrases.
3. Then on the Double page spread my
layout of the interview attracted my
audience very well. This was done by
not labelling the whole interview by
question and answer, but by
introducing certain points in the third
person. This way it read like a story
and also made it clear when Jack
Thompsett was talking, and the
interviewer was not. This was also
done through layout as I made
4. This addressed the audience well as it
made sure the interview was easy to
follow. Design was then used on the
magazine to attract the audience,
firstly though the use of bold texts
where appropriate and then a colour
scheme. The colour scheme was
most important as it showed
consistency through the magazine,
making it aesthetically pleasing and
therefore attractive to the audience.
5. Another use of design was on my double page
spread, which had three quotes in bold and highlight
spread about the page (one being the title of the
interview) this firstly attracted the audience as it
stood out on the page as a bold statement, in then
addressed the audience by giving you an idea of
what the interview was centred on, therefore
allowing the audience to judge whether or not they
want to read it.
