2. What is technology?
• It is a combination two Greek
word, techne which means arts,
craft or skill and logos which
means “to speak of”.
• The definition of technology is an
application of knowledge to the
practical aims of human life or to
changing and manipulating the
human environment.

3. Artificial Intelligence
• Is often used to
describe machine
that mimic
“cognitive” function
that human
associate with the
human mind, such
as learning and
problem solving.

5. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Is one of the most transformative
tech evolution of our times.

6. Personalized and
Predictive medicine
• Is a field of medicine that entails
predicting the probability of
disease and instituting preventive
measures in order to either
prevent the disease.

7. Autonomous Driving
• Tesla chief Elon Musk has said
he expects his company to create
a truly “complete” autonomous
vehicle by this year.

8. 5G Data Networks
• 5th generation of mobile internet
connectivity is going to give us
super-fast download and upload
speeds as well as more stable
connections.

9. Computer Vision
• Deals with how computers can be
made to gain high level
understanding from digital image
or videos.

10. Extended Reality
• That covers several new and
emerging technologies being
used to create more immersive
digital experiences. More
specifically, it refers to virtual,
augmented, and mixed reality.

11. Blockchain Technology
• It is growing list of records called
blocks that are linked using
cryptography(a message written
in code). It records transaction
between two parties efficiently,
securely and in verifiable way and
permanent way.

It includes the use of materials, tools, techniques and source of power to make life easier and more productive.
This our list for today. We will discuss each new Technologies to explore the newest inventions for this year.
most companies started to explore how they can use AI to improve customer experience and business operations.
– is a field of medicine that entails predicting the probability of disease and instituting preventive measures in order to either prevent the disease altogether or significantly decrease its impact upon the patient.
Tesla chief Elon Musk has said he expects his company to create a truly “complete” autonomous vehicle by this year, and the number of vehicles capable of operating with a lesser degree of autonomy.
Example: Google's sister-company Waymo has just completed a trial of autonomous taxis in California, where it transported more than 6200 people in the first month.
It won’t just be cars, of course – trucking and shipping are becoming more autonomous, and breakthroughs in this space are likely to continue to hit the headlines throughout 2020.
-5G uses spectrum better than 4G. (1Ghz from low bands below and 1Ghz – 6Ghz from mid bands.)
-5G is faster than 4G. (delivering up to 20 Gbps peak data rates and 100+Mbps average data rates.)
-5G has more capacity than 4G. (5G will support 100x increase in traffic capacity and network efficiency.)
-5G has lower latency than 4G. (to deliver more instantaneous, real-time access: a 10x decrease in end-to-end latency down to 1ms.)
– deals with how computers can be made to gain high level understanding from digital images or videos. It seeks to automate tasks that the human visual system can do
-In computer terms, “vision” involves systems that are able to identify items, places, objects or people from visual images – those collected by a camera or sensor (example face recognition on devices.)
As we move through 2020, we’re going to see computer vision equipped tools and technology rolled out for an ever-increasing number of uses.
Example: Autonomous cars (unmanned vehicles such as cars or trucks that produce map for itself and for detecting obstacles), self-driving cars, security cameras that will be able to alert us to anything suspicious, industrial robots (in manufacturing industries)
-covers several new and emerging technologies being used to create more immersive digital experiences. More specifically, it refers to virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.
Virtual reality (VR) provides a fully digitally immersive experience where you enter a computer-generated world using headsets that blend out the real world.
Augmented reality (AR) overlays digital objects onto the real world via smartphone screens or displays (think Snapchat filters).
Mixed reality (MR) is an extension of AR, that means users can interact with digital objects placed in the real world (think playing a holographic piano that you have placed into your room via an AR headset).
Technology - It is a growing list of records called blocks that are linked using cryptography (a message written in code). It records transactions between two parties efficiently, securely and in verifiable way and permanent way.
-This technology uses decentralized consensus to maintain the network which means it is not centrally controlled by a bank, corporation or government.
-The Bitcoin network was the first successful implementation of blockchain technology.
Other examples are GCash and PayMaya.
