A presentation from Connect More by James Kieft, group learning and development manager, Activate Learning. In this session, James explores what the possible impact of COVID-19 will be on the new academic year from September. He considers how colleges will have to alter their delivery to ensure they can meet the government's requirements for social distancing which could result in smaller class sizes and generally fewer students on-site at one time. James suggests delivery approaches such as the use of flipped learning, along with considering whether a mixture or synchronous and asynchronous delivery will bring about the best outcomes for students.
