"Students need opportunities to develop digital skills throughout their educational journey, ensuring that they are equipped for the increasingly digital workplace." - Sir Ian Diamond Teaching staff are facing increasing demands to do more than use digital technology to improve pedagogy. The challenge now includes anticipating the digital capabilities that students will need in their future workplace and preparing them to thrive in that rapidly evolving environment. Through our experience of delivering the building digital capability service and related courses we are developing an awareness of different approaches and mechanisms being used to embed digital capability in the curriculum. Some examples are generic in that they can be applied across the whole organisation whereas others are highly specialised and subject specific.
