Garbage segregation is a form of waste management. It is a process
of sorting garbage in an effort to reduce, reuse and recycle
materials.
1. Boidegradable garbage – is the kind of garbage that
decomposes. Biodegradable or perishable garbage is a major
material for making cpmpost. Compost is a mixture of decaying
organic matter that can be used as a fertilizer.
2. Nonbiodegradable garbage - not capable of being decomposed.

2. REUSE – involves the return of a waste material either to the
originating process as substitute for an input material or to
another process as an input material.
3. RECYCLE – discards are separated into materials that may be
incorporated into new products.
4. RECOVER – to reclaim from a bad state, practice.
5. DISPOSAL – to get rid of something.
