The document discusses three levels of "Egypt" that must be overcome: 1) materialistic culture, 2) the personal evil inclination, and 3) the world government prior to the coming of the Messiah. It argues that just as the Jewish people had to be redeemed from Egyptian enslavement, individuals must free themselves from inner limitations and worldly control will give way to God's sovereignty. The ultimate redemption will come when all constraints on experiencing God are removed in the Messianic era, transforming even the embodiments of evil and oppression.

It's not just a thrilling story of old.

It just started.

We're still getting
out of Egypt:
Level 1 The Egyptian culture we haven't left behind
Level 3 The Government that's controlling the world

Level 2 The Pharaoh that's stuck inside us

Did Pharaoh
drown in the sea?
Of course!
What happened to him is a whole story in itself
(see References).
His survival is what concerns us here.
But he didn't die.

In the Desert -
While on their way to the Promised Land, how many
times did the Jewish People want to turn around and
head back to Egypt?
5 Times!
And we can see this

Materialistic

There's nature only. No Supernatural.
The Nile is the source of sustenance – worship it!
Follow your hearts desires – immorality (incest, adultery,
etc) in abundance.
Wanting Egypt happens when people have
Such was the lifestyle of Ancient Egypt.

And so,
those material people in the desert were missing their physical
delights so much... it was even worth to
resume crushing labor

Not a Currency
The magical, all-tastes, bread from heaven ("manna") was "nothing" in their eyes.
Heaven is

Animals only look down.
They can choose to look down and see materialism,
or look up and see more heavenly things.
One of the differences between
humans and animals:
Humans stand upright.
What do they see? Physicality.

Why are we so obsessed
with the Exodus?
'cause we still need to leave Egypt...

17. בס"ד
Your Very Own Pharaoh
Being stuck in Egypt is when the Evil Inclination grabs
hold of the person, and defines the “borders” of his
connection with G-d, like Pharaoh did to the Jews.
Whilst you're in Egypt, Pharaoh's got you covered.
17 . 1
18. בס"ד
Willingly?
Sometimes submission to the Evil Inclination is voluntary,
Like it was initially in Egypt when Jews voluntarily recruited
themselves for Pharaoh's "projects".
Soon enough the soul wants out,
However the person just cannot change / rid of Pharaoh.
Either way, Pharaoh's got you covered.

19. בס"ד
הערף = פרעה
Pharaoh makes the person face the wrong
direction (the nape).
Not interested in change.
No eyes in the back of the neck to recognize
reality.

20. בס"ד
ִםיְַרצִמ = ִַרםצֵימ
Not a single slave could escape Egypt
Egypt stands for boundaries and confinements
Whilst in Egypt, you're going nowhere else.
Mitzrayim / Egypt Meytzarim / Boundaries
19
21. בס"ד
מצרים ארץ
The real problem:
Eretz Mitzrayim / The Land of Egypt
ארץ (Land) shares the same root as
רץ ("ratz" / to run) and
רוצה ("rotze" / to want)
It's wanting to be under Egyptian rule that makes us run back.
20
22. בס"ד
Pharaoh HAD
you covered.
After the original Exodus from Egypt, no one owes
Pharaoh anything anymore.
The way out has been paved.
Exodus (including personal liberation from your own
perceived limits) is always possible.
21
23. בס"ד
Egypt on Every Level
Dealing with Egypt is not a Pass/Fail.
Anything stopping you from uniting with the infinite
G-d is a layer of Egypt.
So the ultimate personal exodus can only be
experienced in Messianic Times, when all limits will be
undone.
22
24. בס"ד
Pharaoh of the
World
Just like in the first Redemption from Egypt,
there's a Pharaoh that stands in the way of the
Redemption that's coming to the World,
with the advent of Moshiach.
LEVEL 3

25. בס"ד
Government
The is the
global Pharaoh that stands in the way of the new era
(Redemption)
contemporary Government before Moshiach
24 . 1
29. בס"ד
Transformation
It's not about escaping Pharaoh anymore.
Religious freedom has been well established by the
Coming of Moshiach.
It's about converting Egypt (the world) and Pharaoh
(the Government).
“ Egypt has to know that I am G-d.
'ה אני כי מצרים וידעו
27
30. בס"ד
Pharaoh's Well Being
That's the deeper meaning of Pharaoh's survival,
And Jacob's blessing of Pharaoh's welfare,
And "One should pray for the welfare of the Government".
Pharaoh is not to be exterminated.
He's to be transformed.
28
31. בס"ד
Survival of the Evil Kingdom
"ותכניע ...הרשעה "ומלכות
In our daily prayers we ask for the Wicked Kingdom to be
1. uprooted
2. broken
3. crushed, and
4. subdued
Ultimately it's not about annihilation (1-3) – but about
subjugation (4) – of the evil reign prior to Moshiach.
29
32. בס"ד
Pharaoh's Heart
It's when we reach the final stages of Levels 1 and 2, that
we need to deal with the toughest / most stubborn
aspects of Pharaoh.
30
33. בס"ד
Stubborn.
Pharaoh was the king of the world, but with Moses
turning up, everything started falling around him.
Pharaoh was
Did he take notice?
Only after 10 plagues.
31
34. בס"ד
The Government is
Stubborn.
Like Pharaoh, the Government's meant to be sovereign,
supreme.
And like Pharaoh, things are falling apart all around them.
On economical level, social level, and national security --
all the unpleasant signs of Moshiach.
Like Pharaoh, their hands are tied.
Like Pharaoh, they are the last to realize that.
32
35. בס"ד
Since the first Lebanon War or thereabouts
The IDF is powerless in the face of Intifadas, Gulf
Wars, suicide bombers
The muscles are all there, but the hands are tied.
Example of Government's Hands are Tied:
Israeli Defense Force

36. בס"ד
The Jewish People were in Egypt for 210 years
They served Pharaoh for 116 years
The back-breaking labor went on for 86 years
But only a few verses on all this in the Torah.
Most of the Exodus story is about breaking Pharaoh,
during the last year of their stay.
The End
Gets Most Attention
34
37. בס"ד
The End of Exile is
Key
The Jewish People have been to 3 further exiles
since leaving Egypt
The last one dragging for some 2000 years
But the last episode where Moshiach takes on the
Government is the most critical.
35
38. Summary
בס"ד
Level Egypt Means: Exodus Means:
1. Culture Materialism, limiting the
person's perspectives to
physical ideaologies
Spiritual perspective, and
how to use material
instincts to serve G-d
2. Personal Evil Inclination, limiting
the individual's service of
G-d
Overcoming limitations
from within
3. Before
Moshiach
Government running the
show as "usual"
Moshiach revealing G-d's
sovereignty in the World
36
39. בס"ד
Who Broke
Pharaoh's Heart?
Doing the hard yards for Pharaoh was back-breaking
labor.
At least everyone chipped in.
But breaking Pharaoh's heart was harder.
Everyone pulled out except for Moses and Aharon.
