A conceptual design of an Air purifier window with self-cleaning system and solar panel that clears the air from allergens, pollutants, toxic gases, and blows it to the room in the indicated-by-user temperature. It also cleans both, the inner and outer window glasses automatically. All the tools consume the electricity power, generated by solar panels, which are constructed to the parts of window frame and edges of window glass, and they are controlled by remote control device.
Nowadays, a lot of megapolises have problems with air pollution, many urban people suffer from allergic diseases and traditional energy resources are becoming extinct. In addition, elderlies and the people with disabilities are no longer considered as vulnerable, on the contrary, they are trying to be independent with the help of modern technologies and asking for more useful devices.
Air purifier window with a self-cleaning system and solar panel can address all the above-mentioned problems.

Consumer Complaints
• Warm air usually gets out
• Entering noise disturbs
• Easy to break
• Polluted air can enter freely
• Inside of the house easily visible from outside
• Easy to be dirty and it takes too much time to reach perfect
cleanliness, and when the outer window is being cleaned it can be
dangerous for human’s life
• After opening it can be rapidly closed by strong wind and be
broken down
• The range of functionality is very narrow
• Burglars can use a window to enter the house easily
6. How To Improve
1. To install Storm Windows techniques to keep the heat (C1)
2. To add Acoustic Sealants or Caulk and Noise Blocking Window Film (C2)
3. To make glass more shockproof (C3)
4. To insert filters (C4)
5. To make glass darker with tone (C5)

10. 1. Warm saving: window should save the warm or
cold air from insight regarding to the season
2. Quietness: improve the resistance to noise
3. Safety: consumer should feel safe with windows
4. Cleanliness: make easy to clean without any dim
5. Transparence: outside should be seen clearly
6. Design: window should be multifunctional and
convenient to use
11. 7. Light transmission: make interior more brighter for customers
8. Keeping position: window should be resistant against outside
force
9. More functions: add advanced features and improve existing
10. Size: size should be suitable for every design of house
11. Electricity Consumption: self-producing required energy
12. Human Energy Consumption: must be self-dependent and
use less energy of customers
13. Price: extra features need to maintain former cost
13. Customer Complaints
• Warm air will get out
• Noise will disturb
• Easy to break
• Polluted air can enter freely

14. Customer Requirements
1. Want some techniques to keep the heat (C1)
2. Want noise blocking feature (C2)
3. Want a window’s glass to be more shockproof (C3)
4. Want air entering the room via window to be clean (C4)
5. Want inside of the house to be less visible from the outside (C5)
6. Want a window to self-clean itself (C6)
7. While window is open, want it to be more stable (C7)
8. Want extra functions and features (C8)
9. Want a house to be secured from illegal entrance via windows
(C9)
17. Reflected Elements
The components of cleanliness, functionality and both electricity and
human energy consumptions are the highest priorities for demanded
quality
To meet customer requirements, functionality of the window should be
enhanced and these new features should not negatively affect the
safety of the customers and the price of the product
Multifunctional and affordable product is needed to make customers
experience satisfying.
18. Provides residents with fresh air and improves the quality of air,
eliminating different types of pollution
Filters has two modes. One of them is to purify inner air of the house.
The second one is to purify outer air, entering from outside of window’s
frames. These modes are simply controlled with the help of remote
controller.
Similarly, there are two filtering steps: initial and terminal.
Two modes are provided for costumers: Summer Mode - when it cools
and Winter Mode - when it hits the filtered air.
Dyson’s filtering technique is implemented to reach aimed requirements
Filtering System
21. Filtering approach of Dyson company is
implemented into frames of window that are
capable to capture allergens and pollutants as
small as 0.3 microns.

Engine That Resorbs Air
• A blower can rotate both left side
and right side.
a. When it rotates to the left, it resorbs
inner air.
b. When it rotates to the right, it resorbs
outer air.

Blower
Before air goes from blower, it travels
special tube, which has spiral that hits
the air if it is in heating mode or it cools
purely as a fan if it is in cooling mode.

30. Self-cleaning Mode
Saves energy of people and time that is spent to clean windows
One press of the button and the window will be cleaned by the automated
frame
The cleaning-tool has a brusher and wiper: the brusher for brushing glass with
wet cleaning-chemicals when going down, the wiper for drying the glass when
going up.
Provided with high qualified brushes that makes window soft without any spot
and dim
In order to minimize the required interaction of human with window, the system
of reproduction of water is developed.
31. ImageSelf-cleaning Mode
Auto-cleaner is inserted on the top of
glass to reach perfect cleanliness easily.
The horizontal glass frames are designed
to facilitate the functionality of automatic
cleaner

37. Solar Panel Approach
To meet energy demands of a window, solar panel approach is
implemented
Solar panels are inserted into vertical sides of window and along the
lines in glass frames, except auto cleaning panel
Extra energy is saved in capacitors, which are located into horizontal
sides of window with engine and filters
38. Solar Panel –
It is constructed to the parts
of window frame to receive
the required energy

41. Problems
Filters may produce noise while working
Filters require large space to run
Cleaning system may exacerbate exterior design
Solar panel can increase price
42. Solutions
Installing noise blocking materials to handle with customer’s
requirements
Placing filtering and self-cleaning system into window panels to
minimize required space
Altering exterior design and installing cleaning system in top of frames
to make it fancy
Use solar panel efficiently to cope with cost issues

51. Self-evaluation
With the one simple click button, automatic window cleaner
will be used to tide it up. It is supposed that customers will
find it more handy and easy to set up. Human energy
consumption and time consuming will be reduced.
Added a new styled feature that filters air by cooling or hitting
it according to the season, will be convenient and simple in
usage with remote control. Costumers will feel full
satisfaction.
52. Self-evaluation
High quality brush added to avoid to be dim after washing.
It cleans the window and avoids being dim.
To save electricity consumption solar panels are put, which
generates energy itself to supply windows.
Solar panels that are constructed to the parts of window
frame and edges of window glass will be enough for
permanently using air purifying system. Also, extra pay for
electricity is avoided.
