2. OBJECTIVE
The Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Vels Institute of Science, Technology and
Advanced Studies will be subsequently abbreviated to VISTAS organized international contest of Art of
Microbes in Media “MICROBIALGRAPHY” where all university, College and School students
worldwide are invited to create an art in microbial culture media. The contest's aim is to encourage
students in research by implementing the first basic aspect of isolation, identification, and
characterization of microbes, and the morphological behavior on different types of selective and growth
media.

2: TM Media logo Art in Culture Media
Note : “2 plates’ image need to be submitted in Microbialgraphy Art Competition and both
task are mandatory”
TERMS & CONDITION
✓ There is no entry fee for participation
✓ Anyone can participate (From Academia/Industry/Individuals)
✓ The logo art should be as similar as possible to the TM Media official logo.
✓ The Image must be clear and clean minimum resolution 1080 pixel at 300 DPI.
✓ Participation in this contest is open to groups of participants limited to 5 participants.
Only two entry is allowed per team
✓ Submitted Work must be the original creation of the participants, should not appear anywhere
else in any other form, and does not violate or infringe upon any copyright, trademark,
privacy, or other proprietary rights of any entity or person.
✓ Each participant has to accept full responsibility for submitting any necessary ethics-related
report(s) to their employer, Institute, funding agency, and/or appropriate managing office
